First Trimix dose

Hi guys,

I'm planning to discuss Trimix with my urologist next month and I'm curious how this works. I think I read in another post that generally you have your doctor write a prescription for you prior to the visit, and then you bring the medication with you since the doctor doesn't mix it at the office. How is it determined what strengths of the 3 meds are used in the prescription if you haven't tried it beforehand?

Your urologist should have the Trimix in his office. He will stick it in your penis the first time. The first dosage he gave me was weak and did not do any good. I took the bottle home (had to pay for it) along with some needles, and increased the dosage till I used up the bottle. It never did get me a "hard', so I asked him to write me a perscription for a stronger dose, and I ordered it from a compound pharmacy. I bought the needles on line as they were much cheaper that way.

As most of the guys on this site told me, my doctor did NOT have Trimix at his office. He wrote me a 'script, I got the drug and needles Fed Ex in a few days and went back to his office so the 38-ish nice-looking female assistant could show me how to inject it.

I'm assuming the docs write a script for a standard mix, and they change it from there if need be. She went conservative and gave me 5 units which gave me a half boner. At home, 10 units was way too much and I have since settled in at 5-6 units. I'm not banging anybody so I'm just doing for therapy.

I guess each Uro handles it differently. My doc demonstrated the injection process on a rubber dick. He then let me practice injecting with a salene solution. He ordered the "standard" formula which arrived at home several days later.
