Length of time of arousal

As a newbie to Caverject, I`m still experimenting with dosage, but what surprises me so far is that the length of time the boner lasts seems to be the same irrespective of the dosage! For example last night 4mcg gave me a four and a half hour boner, as did 6mcg the last time, 7.5 the time before that, 10 before that and 20 the first time!!!

Does this mean that I`ve still not hit the right dose, or that I`m going to have an erection for the same length of time so long as I inject the minimum dose that works for me? Alternatively, I`ve found that since I started using Caverject I get more mid-sleep and early morning erections than I have for years, so could it mean that my system is getting used to the Alprostadil so I simply need less to get the same effect??

Anyone else had similar experiences?

Shaker ,I have the same outcome from injecting , but with Trimix , no matter what quantity I inject .......8 to 12 units . I have an erection for at least four hours , usually longer , but never a throbbing painful one , I used to worry that it wouldn't go down , but now I just enjoy the experience longer . I went three years without a usable erection , so now I am enjoying the hell out of them .

I`ve been wondering if I should keep reducing the dose until it doesn't have any effect, so thought that the next time I`d give 3 mcg a go. However, your reply is reassuring so maybe I`ll stick at 4!
On the other hand, though, I`m quite keen to experiment with a dose of Caverject for the CC AND a dose of MUSE to get the glans engorged, as I`ve mentioned in one or two earlier posts - but I don`t want to overdose.
Isn`t it funny - for so many years it`s been a bit hit and miss about getting a good erection on Viagra, and now I`m getting some crackers I`m still trying to get it bigger and better! No satisfying some folk!
With Caverject as it`s sold in the UK, I think I`ll probably try 3.33mcg next time (in other words, a third of a 10mcg vial). If that STILL gives me a four hour plus erection, then, Chuck, I`m with you. As you say, lie back and enjoy it.

Shaker , you might try injecting closer to the glans , maybe about an inch below perhaps that will engorge the glans also.....it worked with Trimix .And as a footnote ,I have injected up to 15 units with the same length of arousal , so perhaps it is an isolated response .

You say 'as it is sold in the UK' do you mean you are buying it rather than gettig it on prescription, or you have private prescriptions?

Interested since NHS monthly supply may prove inadequate and I may wish to supplement

I have been injecting Trimix for nearly 3 years now...many of my early injections seemed to last longer that 4 hours... my uro had told me that unless it is accompanied with pain, don't be too concerned...
Since I tend to fall asleep soon after orgasm, he thought perhaps it was that the Trimix erection was leaving as a nocturnal erection was taking place. Who knows?

My dose is now one of the smallest I have heard of here. Only 3 units (.03cc). It usually goes away 1 to 1 1/2 hours after injecting.

Has anyone found that their erection lasts longer if they are taking tablets such as Viagra as well as injecting? 4mcg of Caverjct and Viagra gave me over four hours, but the latest was 4 mcg of Caverject without Viagra and it went down shortly after orgasm. It wasn`t quite the iron rod it had been with the Viagra, but it worked...........!!

You know, now that it`s working I`m really enjoying experimenting!!!

I take 20 mg of daily Cialis and often take 50 mg of Viagra prior to injecting. Yet my erections, even upto 35 units, never last longer than 1.5 hours. I believe the effective time of the erection is dependent on the cause of the ED. Mine is a result of diabetes which reduces the capacity of blood inflow and reduces sensitivity due to neuropathy.

I find the hotter, better, longer the sex, the longer I stay hard.

If my wife comes quickly, so do I and my erections don't last very long.
But when she is plays around, stretches it out. I stay hard forever.
