Hi All
I had my implant done last Tuesday, went in thinking I was getting an AMS LGX but woke up with a Titan, the surgeon explained why he did this and I'm happy, no problems there at all.
Apart from severe bruising I had little no to pain and didnt need any pain relief. The most painful thing was having the damn tape pulled off following the operation and it gripped my body hair, a bit like being waxed I guess.
Ive been told not to activate for 6 weeks when I have my follow up appointment with the specialist.
Iam however a little concerned about the shape of my penis, one side appears to have a bulge from the tubing causing a slight curve and theres a small kink at the top just below the glans. It may well be that this side of the implant wasnt fully emptied as I do seam to be permanenlty semi erect.
I'm hoping that when I activate the implant properly and can fully deflate I will be able to achieve a more flacid look and that the buldge and kink will dissapear.
I'm also worried that the surgeon has selected tubing which is too long hence the slight bulge.
Anyone else have this experience when first implanted with a Titan?
Kind Regards
Titan - Look and Feel
Re: Titan - Look and Feel
Hi I had the implant done June 28, 2013 and my surgeon instructed me to start pumping everyday now as of July 15, 2013. It is painful and i can only get about a 3.5 inch erections. It does look like im semi hard now all the time where i use to be like a turtle when i was soft then grow to almost 8inches. I have tried to cycle the pump and when I start after about 7 inflates the pump doesn't want to pump anymore. I to now have a curve to my penis which i never had before. I can also get a little erection after implant and doc said this was normal as you have 3 erection chambers and they only clean out 2 of the 3. When you go to cycle it, it will hurt also the pump is hard to pump and so many pumps like 7 and you wont be erect on 7 pumps also the release valve is extremely difficult to deflate. I am sure once i start using it more it will get easier. The hardest part for me is yanking on the pump to keep it in the scrotum. That isn't working it is right under my shaft and it looks like i have a third ball. Ask anything else. But my doc said everything was fine. He tried pumping it up half way in office and he had to stop cause pain was to great i had to go home and take a pain pill.

I'm curious as to why the change? ... did he find scar tissue, etc.?

That's typical ... as many URO's have different methods and preferences ...
one side appears to have a bulge from the tubing causing a slight curve and theres a small kink at the top just below the glans
Is it possible there was scar tissue there? The curve and the kinks usually resolve themselves once pumped up ...
It may well be that this side of the implant wasnt fully emptied as I do seam to be permanenlty semi erect
Not really since both cylinders drain simultaneously ... The Titan will tend to feel/look that way, because of the stiffer material in the cylinders.
I'm also worried that the surgeon has selected tubing which is too long hence the slight bulge
That's very doubtful the selected cylinders are too long ... I think that once you are able to max pump, the budge should go away ...
