Just Switched from BI to Tri

Postby jtc_hunter » Thu Jul 25, 2013 11:47 pm

I started using Bimix 3 months ago. At first 10 units did the trick, but steadily I had to increase the dosage up to 40 units and using a constriction band. Since my RP surgery was over 2 yrs ago, I told my DR. I wasnt too concerned about possible aching with Trimix, so he wrote me a new prescription. 30mg-1mg-10mcg(alprostadil). Last night I did 10 units w/ no constriction, and it was "good enough" . I would say 80% as hard as I would have liked. Also I went soft fairly normally after our sex was over. I am thinking of trying the same dose along with constriction. My ins. pays nothing , so the smaller the dosage the better for my wallet. Hopefully this vial will last at least 3 months. If I have to increase the dosage much, should I ask for more Alprostadil , say maybe 15 or 20 mcg in the next vial? What , exactly does the Alprostadil do?

I'm glad I started with Trimix , I worked my way up to 20 units , then my compounder suggested constriction .....see my post on venous leaking .....
Now I have gone back down to 10 or 12 units depending on how hard I want it.......LOVE this stuff !
