I’ve been using Trimix for around 4 months.
90% of time things work great. But when I miss the spot, NOTHING happens. It is so weird.
This morning I did 35 units, which is my dose. It was low on shaft. I was slightly beyond the 9 O’ Clock spot. There was quite a bit of resistance, but I pushed harder and the dose went in slowly. No blood spotting.
So I know that I need to play better attention, but where does the Trimix go. Any advise on better consistency.
Missed the spot
Re: Missed the spot
I used it for 12 years, 10 and 2 worked best for me.
Implanted 6/26/2018, Coloplast Titan 20cm, no RTE'S, infra pubic, Dr. Rhee, Kaiser 80 yrs., married 57 yrs. ED for over 20 yrs.
Re: Missed the spot
I've injected 15 or so times using the AutoInject device. The only "miss" was when I injected low on the shaft (about 1/2 inch from base). No erection from that one! Now I go aboy 1-2 inches from the base. Works every time.
Birth Year 1959, Happily married to wife since 1987. On TRT since age 45, started sildenafil at age 48. Had lifesaving abdominal surgery at 61 with lost erectile function following surgery. Started trimix in January 2023 at age 63.
Re: Missed the spot
80% of my misfires were on the low part of the shaft. mid to top works best for me. i have read on here that it may be longer needle size that is needed for that low. i have not tried it as i only have one size. i also use the 1 o'clock position as well but only recently and only twice but it has worked.
50+ yrs old. married 25+ years. hypothyroid, on TRT. 10+ years ED, viagra, cialis now 50% ineffective. now on trimix 2MG phentolamine/30MG papaverine/20MCG alprostadil

I used trimix for 11 years.
I find it helpful to google a diagram of a cross section of a penis. Even if you've seen it before. You have to know where everything is and plan your shots.
You can't keep injecting in the same spots anyway. You have to hit the corpora cavernosa and that can be achieved at many positions of the clock.
There is no reason why you cant hit the corpora cavernosa low on the shaft or high on the shaft if you're doing it right.

Where it goes specifically I don't know. Unless it just gets dumped into your urethra where it'll come out there's no way to know. However I doubt it's doing those "wrong" tissues any favors. My number one rule is, If the plunger is hard to depress you're in the wrong spot. Try deeper or shallower and try to follow to suggestions for needle placement.
My last injection, in trying to expand my usable territory, I accidently went too low at about 5:00. Upon noticing my error, fortunately early on before I went too deep at the wrong angle, I redirected fairly sharply up (to make sure I missed urethra and other important stuff) and and went deeper. I had to test it at a couple of different depth before getting easy plunger depression. So I did have a successful injection even at 5:00. However I was initially trying for 4:00 and I won't purposely go for 5:00.
Never force the plunger if it doesn't want to go. That's why I don't like BD brand. Their plungers are too stiff and they make determining plunger resistance too difficult.
Low towards the pelvic bone or high near the glans shouldn't make much difference. I personally find if I'm too close to the base it hurts more for some reason. But otherwise the same rules apply. Hard or stiff plunger = wrong depth. Sharp pain when starting to depress the plunger = wrong spot and you're trying to dump the meds into the wrong tissues. You can also get pain when you depress the plunger even if you're in the correct spot if you have a strong mix and you're depressing the needle too fast.
Good luck.

Re: Missed the spot
Thanks guys. What about drawing a little blood in before injecting?
I’ve read some posts about that.

That's a legitimate method and I have experimented and used it successfully. However I don't find it nearly as reliable as the plunger resistance method. I have found good placement when I wasn't easily able to withdraw blood but had little plunger resistance. I use 31g needles and that could play a roll in the blood method not working as well for me. But yeah, give it a try and see if it works for you.

My second injection did that. I got nothing not even a chubby. My wife was so upset she wouldn't talk with me for two days.
My whole pelvic region ached for several days.
Does anyone know how much wider the Corpus cavernosum expands?
Seems to me hitting the Corpus cavernosum is much easier if I have slightly enlarged chubby.
Plus I found the Trimix begins working fast if the flood is flowing.

Re: Missed the spot
This typical where-to-inject diagram shows thick erect corpora cavernosa. A cross section of my flaccid penis would show much thinner corpora. I checked mine with a set of drill bits, and they're about 7/32 inch (5.5 mm) diameter. That's why they're so hard to hit with these misleading diagrams.
