Just a couple pics, now only 72 hours post surgery. Back home from Houston after a 4 hour flight, all went very well. Completely comfortable during flight due to nerve block still in effect. Stayed on my back and iced continuously post surgery until boarding the plane. Minimal bruising, looks and feels good. Have had some shooting sharp pains in my left quadricep, we think some swelling somewhere is pressing on a nerve. Gabapentin takes care of that in short order. So far just Tylenol and taking it easy. (black marks in one pic on my abdomen is the fuzz from sweats sticking to adhesive residue) Incision on shaft was for access to remove scar tissue on one side just under the glans. I am not circumcised, and a bit of glue was added to keep my foreskin over the glans so it wouldn't swell. The glue will eventually wear off. I was told this is 60% inflated.

I can feel the pump in the middle behind my balls and can identify all parts of it with no problem. I’m certain I could operate it now with little or no pain, but will obviously wait until told to do so.

Jage -- as I commented about your case on the General Discussions forum, what a great surgeon Clavell is that could navigate through your unusual scarring issue!! You mentioned that he had written a paper on that challenge -- wow, what good fortune for you! And as you said, but can't be said enough, a high volume surgeon is invaluable in this often tricky business of IPPs. Congratulations on your success and your wise choice of surgeons.

Which hotel did you stay at ? We were at the Intercontinental. Decent place to stay, and free shuttle to and from the hospital used by Dr. Clavell. . For ice I really found that two rectangular cold packs (with cloth sleeves) , one on either side of the scrotum , between the scrotum and the thigh, to be wonderful !!

We stayed at the Doubletree right next to the InterContinental. It was fine, not great. We had a rental car, my wife did some shopping while I was being operated on. I’m doing the same with ice packs right now, I’m sure it has made a big difference.

Interesting realization last night, I woke up to a little pain in the middle of the night and found that I was experiencing my previously weak overnight engorgement. Happy to see that still works!

Milestone reached! 5 nights after surgery was able to spoon with my wife overnight. (Sure, I was pointing up in tight bike shorts, but wow that felt good).
