Surgery is this monday and I'm pretty much scared shitless

Postby colonelangus » Sat Aug 10, 2013 11:18 pm

I think I'm mostly afraid of coming out of the surgery with much less than what I had. Tomorrow I'm going to start a thread and show how my penis was fantastic a few years ago, then after my accident it's just not so great. I really miss how it used to be, but I know I'll never get that back. The next best thing is the implant. My wife is REALLY excited about it. Me.. very nervous.
40 year old that had an aircraft accident 3 years ago (Aug 11, 2010). I had a spinal cord injury at L-1 that left me with partial paralysis. I'm able to walk some with effort. I have bowel/bladder/ED issues from the injury. Titan implant on Aug 12, 2013

My Surgery is on 9/4/13 I am also scared shitless but I have managed to muster up alot of confidence in my DR so I am starting to feel alittle better but still nervous as all get out.
I am 48 years old have had ED since I was 16, I can get an erection but I can not maintain it, tried pills I dont like the side effects, tried Trimix it has been hit and miss, I think I should get an implant.

Hi,

It is so normal to be scared. I know I was 7 years ago. You will feel fine once the surgery is over with the exception of a some pain. They will give you painkillers. Your life will get much better once you start using your implant, trust me. Good luck with everything and it will go just fine.

I'm now 17 days post surgery and like you I was apprehensive. Now although uncomfortable I would not change a thing.

Good luck with and hope your implant is everything you want it to be.
