Good morning to everybody..
First i wish that you will excuse my English, cause I don't speak or write the English language perfectly..
I'm 42 , and i live in a island of Greece..(i can give my name in pm, sorry guys but i live in a small island and i don't want anyone from this island to know about my story)..
But I'm "real" and very worried and sad about my implant story..
I'm just about to have my second surgery, to replace my implant.
I did my first with using TITAN, but my doctor was asshole, he made some mistakes, and i have to repeat the surgery.
Also he didn't told me anything the day after the surgery to help my implant to recover and work as he promised me..nothing at all!
I went to another doctor and he said that my first doctor put me smaller implant, and maybe he made mistakes causing a bulb under the penis base..
The truth is a lost many cm in length and girth..half of my penis!
So he told me that he can put me new one, and longer one...he assured me that he will do the best he can..
But...........just because i lost somehow my trust to doctor's i thought that i can ask you guys, (since i noticed that this site is the best and i learned so many things here, much more that the doctor's i spoke here in Greece) your opinion, your experience, if someone had any..
I'm worried about it!
Is second surgery dangerous? Or it's like the first one?
Will the second surgery cause any damage to the corpus cavernosum (sorry, i
don't know how else to say it (!), i mean the area where the cylinders placed)???
Or any damage anywhere else?...
IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THAT the second surgery will make things worst than it is now??
If you please know anything or your doctor said anything to you about it, please tell me..
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!
HAVE A NICE DAY ALL OF YOU..

Gahan71,
Thanks for posting this on the open discussion forum. I still am willing to continue to communicate with you by private messages but thanks for taking my advice and posting it here on the discussion forum. Readers and members of FrankTalk are wonderful about sharing their experiences and opinions and they have helped me tremendously. I will also be interested in what others might have to say if they have experienced a second surgery because of a problem with the first surgery. Let's both watch this discussion post to see what others say.

Re: worried about the 2nd surgery!
Gahan, there can be complications with any surgery. I had a revision surgery by the same doctor because I had so-called "floppy head" after the first. Fortunately, in my case my health insurance paid most both times and the second surgery was successful. I believe most of my brothers here would agree that it pays to research your doctor. S/he should answer all your questions, return your telephone calls, schedule appointments in a timely manner, etc. I'm sorry you are going through this but it appears that a revisional procedure might be helpful. Do you homework, find a doctor you absolutely trust and don't be afraid to post a negative review of the previous doctor on the Internet.

Gahan,
I have communicated with another guy here who had similar problems to what you describe. He had a second surgery with a different doctor who replaced the entire implant last February. This solved his problems and he was happy with the solution. He doesn't post here often so he might not have read your post. You could send him a PM which would go to his e-mail and he would be more likely to respond to you. His username is "Stickmn000".
Best wishes that a second surgery will fix your problems.

Hi
I had a Amx 700 installed nov 2012 and the pump rode up to high at the base of the shaft. He also mad an abdominal incesision for the reservior. I was unhappy with pump location and in feb. 2013 another doctor put in the Titan. He put in a new reservior with out new incesision. ( only thing i didn't like is he left in the old tank and most of old tubing which I can feel). It's taken 6 months for the nerves to reconnect in the bottom of my shaft. If you get another one ask him to remove all old parts

Stickmn000,
I agree. When I had my second surgery I thought they would just replace the cylinders since that is where the infection was. However, the surgeon removed ALL of the previous prosthesis, flushed my penis and scrotum out with five different antibiotic solutions and then installed a completely new system.
