How to know you're in the corpora cavernosa?
How to know you're in the corpora cavernosa?
I am using Caverject with the prefilled syringes who I mix before injecting. The last time I injected I got no response at all. On few videos on youtube they say inject the full length of the needle but needle seems kinda big and I am small flaccid. I don't know how I am missing the target. Maybe its goint too deep or what, Any caverject users to teach me some tricks to know you are the in correct place?
Venous like since I was 20 years old. Pills don't work too well. Thinking of implant in the future

What size (length) is your needle? If it's 5/16 inch make sure it is fully inserted before injecting.
I find it easier to inject if I can get a chubby... Not erect, but a chubby where I can feel the corpora cavernosa as it starts to fill with blood.
I found this makes for a quicker erection.

When I inject I pressure the penis so that the corpora cavernosa is gently pushed against the side of the penis and then inject. The way I know it's a good injection is the second pinch; first pinch is the skin and second would be penetration of the cavernosa. At least that's what I found in my one year plus injecting. And be patient, took me a lot of misses before I got the technique (and even now I get a miss every so often).

What percent of failures do you have now that you have mastered the injection? Failures suck so bad imagine having a girl over as a young guy and you fuck up the injection and can't have sex. No worse feeling.
I wonder if its okay to inject on the other side again after 30 minutes if you are sure you missed it?

Re: How to know you're in the corpora cavernosa?
It's not recommended to inject twice as you may overdoes and get an erection greater than 4 hours, but I totally understand the disappointment when it doesn't work (and that's with my wife or myself. I can't imagine if I was single and had a girl over!!!).
To answer your question, currently, I'd say it's 1 out of 10 injections might be a miss now, or not work for whatever reason. I have never injected twice, but I have poked my penis twice; in other words, if I inject and don't get that "second pinch" I will not push in the bimix. Then try again on the other side and push in the meds when I get that second pinch.

My failures have been mainly on the left side and near the base. I have injected twice only on two occasions. They were both on the left side. I did wait an hour to really judge of any went in the correct spot. I also did a smaller dose on the opposite side so when it did work it didn’t last as long. I’ll also add that i have had many erections that were 4-5 hours. Uro said as long as they were mot painful its not worrisome. All mine have never been painful and i can at least bend it a bit. Some of the best sex were those 5 hour erections from the worn out wife saying no more. Lol

I've injected again if I missed the first shot or my vial lost a little of its potency with no problems. I don't like to do it all the time but I'm not passing up an moment.

How many minutes do you suggest to wait before the second injection?

I wait about 15 minutes at the most. For me at least I almost know if I got the right dose or hit the sweet spots after about 5 minutes. Some won't recommend it but in some situations I believe its worth the risk
