Nice Size Bruise

Wednesday I injected on the left side. Today I noticed a nice size bruise on the left side. As of right this minute, it is not sore. I am guessing maybe I hit a blood vessel Wednesday? Should I not inject on the left side again until it heals or is it ok to go ahead and inject on the left side again next week, probably Monday? Is hitting a blood vessel the likely culprit?

You should be varying the injection spot.
In my notes for my injection, I noted 10 different injection locations. five on the left and five on the right.

Assuming you do less than 10 injections a month, this should allow any injection location to not be hit twice in the same month.

I do alternate sides each time. But I do inject in the same general area, which is usually about mid shaft. You are saying I should also inject in different areas of the shaft? The urologist said mid shaft area, between 9 and 11 and 1 and 3.

For me the left side is notorious for misfires and bruises. Possibly could be there is more hidden veins and vessels that cant be seen on the surface. I inject all up and down the shaft on both sides. Using 11-8 o’clock on the left and vice versa on the right. Majority of my misfires happen at the base. I have the best luck right under the glans on either side. Just my experience. Up to 110 injections so far. Usually do 1-2 times a week.

Ape1100: You inject under the side? No issues doing that? I use an auto injector because I do not want to see the needle coming. I have had a few small bruises, but this is the first time I have had a big one. I wonder if I missed the correct area Wednesday. This bruise is in the lower left quadrant I was aiming for the 9:30 ish 10 ish area, maybe I was to low? I have also noticed that when I pull the penis to extend it, after I am finished, the area I thought I injected in is usually off. I am still figuring out my dose and still get inconsistent results at times. But I think I am narrowing it down. So far I seem to have better results at the 9 to 10 ish and 2 to 3 ish area, however the other day, I injected at about 11 and had fair results.

The first shot the uro did was right under the glans at 9 o’clock. I have also noticed the area is off after pulling it but mostly on the left side. Last week was a left and i was off and hit something. It left a small blood blister but still managed to work.
