First, let me say that I have ED. For the past almost 4 years I have been using trimix injections. Over that time I have been obtaining my trimix through a compounding pharmacy who files a claim with express scripts pharmacy. I then pay a copayment. Recently, I tried to get a new prescription for my trimix through express scripts and they now say they do not cover trimix.
On the surface it would appear that it depends on who at express scripts gets the claim from the pharmacy as to whether it gets approved or denied. I am trying to build a case that shows express scripts has set a presidence by at least approving the claims for my trimix in the past.
I am asking, without any personal information at this point in time, anyone who has gotten their trimix through a compounding pharmacy and express scripts to please email me at scroller2014@gmail.com or PM me. This will most likely apply to veterans but could apply to non-veterans.
I appreciate any help I can get from the Franktalk community.

I do not know of any insurance that cover's Trimix. Someone must have been using a different code to pass that through Express Scripts in the past. Still worth fighting them though.

Old Guy, thanks for the response. I am going to fight it as long as I can. As a veteran, I remember when I enlisted in the Air Force way back in 1965 I was told by those in charge that if I gave the military 20 years I would get FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL FOR LIFE. Heard that several times before I signed the dotted line. The only thing I have gotten for my 20 years of military service and another 27 years as a Air Force Defense Contractor is a good screwing every time I turn around.
As it seems I can't get trimix without paying up the nose I decided I would go through the VA. Well, they don't give out trimix. They give out muse. But for a time now and they don't know when it will end, they say there is a national shortage of muse. I spoke to my VA doctor about a implant and he send URO a request to do it. Well, they have not responded to either him or me in over 3 month. I asked my local URO about a implant and even though my insurance will cover it completely, he won't discuss it with me. I'm starting to get pissed off!
