Pro's help wanted

Postby Mike Zee » Wed Sep 11, 2013 12:52 pm

Just left URO's office. Thought I was to be watched as I gave myself an injection for the first time. Instead he asked could I do it at home by myself so that I could "take advantage" of a successful stick.

He upped my dose from 2 weeks ago to what he described as a "double strength" shot. Same formula of Tri-Mix, just double the strength...not amount.

Alprostadil 10 mcg/cc

Papareine 30mg/cc

Phentolamine 1.5 mg/cc

I will be injecting later this evening after wife gets home.

He advised me that if this doesn't provide the erection I need...then increase the dosage to 0.4...then 0.5 and after 0.6 without proper results I should return to see him.

Any thoughts from the regular Tri-Mix users?

MZ,

That formula is almost exactly what I was using (12.5/30/1).

My Uro thought .30ml would be good for a first shot and against better judgement let him do it.

Was a whomping good one for almost 4 hours but did finally go down.

I settled on .10ml for an hour .. .15ml if i want another extra hour.

So go easy the first time .. you can always try again the next day.

Also that is by no means Double Strength -- that is called Standard Trimix by my doc and the Pharmacy.
Double Strength .. in my mind .. might be 20mcg ...

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.

Mike: My uro's young female assistant gave me 5 units to start; it barely gave me a semi, so she said try 10 units at home. I did and it was too much. The bastard stayed hard for 5 hours and ached like hell. Timed-release Sudafeds didn't work to bring it down. Make sure you have some fast-acting Suds (or generic equivalents) on hand before injecting. The uro never mentioned this little tidbit because they didn't know when I questioned her about it. The instructions just said use "Sudafed."

After experimenting below 5 units several times, I have settled on 6 units as being a good dose for me. It stays hard for a good 2 hours; sometimes I take Suds anyway if it hasn't gone down much by 3 hours. After a couple of hours it starts to not really be fun. :(

I've also noticed that the Suds don't work very well if you've just eaten.

My PGE-1 is 5.88 MCG (Pap 18 mg and Phen - 0.6 mg). Over the past six months, I have had to increase my dose from 12 units to 35 units in order to obtain a 1.5 hour erection. Should I be asking my Uro to increase the PGE-1 component?

dtwarren, I would ask for a stronger mix. Yours seams a bit weak compared to the average. Mine is 8.9mcg. Aprostadil, 24 mg. Papaverine, and .89 Phentolomine. I may ask to go to 10-25-1 on the next batch. I really dont like injecting more than 30 units. That, to me, is an indicator that a stronger mix may be needed.
