Trimix Help (are there any success stories?)

Postby Martin25 » Mon Jun 05, 2023 2:48 pm

I've been struggling for months to get the right dose and strength of Trimix (after trying Alprostidal 40mg up to 90 units which got me to 75%)...I started with Dr. Eid, but he really does not endorse Trimix and believes that it just damages the penis, so he only prescribed the lowest dose, which did not work, and he does not have any sample medicine in the office (he also does not take insurance)...I found a Dr. Michael Rotman who does take insurance and he immediately wanted to triple my dose from Pap 17.65/Phent 0.59/Alprst 5.9 to Pap 30/Phent 2/Aplrst 40 and he gave me a 15 unit sample syringe to try at home...I had to wait 3 weeks to try it this past weekend and it only got me to around 50-60%...I added the Xialla penis ring and my gf got me hard enough for less than a minute of penetration...I think my confidence is shot when with my partner because I actually get harder when masturbating with just the Xialla Penis ring and not injecting (though I am on daily 5mg Cialis). In fact, masturbating with the Xialla ring gets my quite hard & firm, but it doesn't seem to carry over into attempted intercourse (which has been once every other month :( )
I guess I should titrate up, but a pharmacist told me that this dose of Pap 30/Phent 2/Aplrst 40 is already quite high and seeing Eid in the past really scared me about a strong dose of Trimix...

Is there anyone out there who has been on a similar or stronger dose for a while with success? Would love to chat...

Any suggestions? I'm at a loss...thanks for any help, gentlemen...

I don't know. Maybe try a different style of ring. Perhaps one that provides a bit more constriction. I like ones around the shaft behind the boys. I'm guessing you have a leak so holding the drugs in longer may help.

I've been using 33 units of 30papaverine/1phentolamine/45prostaglandin with 100mg sildenafil for about four years, with good success. The dose hasn't worn off - there's been no need to increase it. Not exactly your mixture, though. I get 2-1/2 hours with little pain.

Apparently Trimix as an adjunct to sildenafil is a standard treatment, when sildenafil alone starts to wane.

I had no idea you could take that much sildenafil along with a trimix injection. I’ll see how the new trimix dose works (or not)for me and then I will ask my Urologist about sildenafil. As I said, I am on 5 mg Cialis daily, and my new Urologist said I could increase that to 10 mg on days I inject….
Thank you so much for responding Martin6469, you give me some much-needed hope…

i also have been using the same amount for almost 18 month with only a minimal increase. i started w 5 units and now use 6-7. i also take daily cialis. i have no ache to speak of, i guess i am one of the lucky ones. it works for a good 3 plus hours. up to about 116 injections. uro has felt me up and said he doesnt feel anything. i dont either but thats not to say that i am not damaging something somewhere but i am confident it is minimal. if it is so harmful then i would think almost everyone with ED would be going the implant route and the done resort to the nuclear option posts i see so many of around here. just my two cents.

There are far more success stories then the later I'd day. Many people use Trimix for years upon years and it really only stops working when the individuals didn't address the underlying causes of their ED and use it just as a Band AID. You're doc has the right idea about going to ten as that should do the trick.

Hang in there. Make another appointment with your doc. You don’t need to be figuring this out alone.

I’ve been using Trimix or Quadmix successfully for 8+ years. The concentration and dosing has changed over that time.

It may take a few rounds to find the concentration and dose that works for you. Keep at it. If you didn’t get hard enough increase your dose a bit (10-25%) and try again 2 days later.

I’ve found that sildinafil (viagra) helps it work better.
Daily cialis helps shots work better.

A good cockring that fits well helps slow the venous leak.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

Thank you, gentlemen! You have given me some hope…

Currently, I’m waiting for my stronger prescription of Trimix (Pap 30/Phent 2/Aplrst 40), to be used with 10mg Cialis and I also have a phone consultation with MAZE sexual health in a few weeks (they advertise on this page).

I think it’s good to post more success stories with injections…

Best wishes to all…
