Do successful implant men stay on Frank Talk?
Re: Do successful implant men stay on Frank Talk?
I’m 13 months implanted and still hang out here. Once or twice a week I catch up and give advice where I think I have good info. There were rough times thru my recouperation but overall I’m very satisfied with my results. First 3 months was questionable at best 3-6 was massive improvement and satisfaction. 6-9 months was amazing and after 9 I finally regained all that was lost. My new normal is rock hard anytime I want it. I have descent engorgement in glans and shaft since surgery. I use 5mg cialis daily and it definitely helps. Also helps with my BPH. Hope it last 10 years but if it fails tomorrow I will be on a revision list ASAP. As many say, I was exhausted with shots. Had used pills for 10 years with diminishing results as with injections. The overall convenience of my implant is amazing. Almost like my days of youth.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

I have a 15 cm with 5 cm rte 700lgx. I love it. 6.5 inch of dick in front of my pubic bone. 5 years since surgeryTxagq8 wrote:I don’t hang out here constantly but I do drop in a few times a week and read.
Some times I see a post where I see my situation a few years back and a post or message can really help. I’ve swapped phone numbers and chatted with guys right after surgeries where they thought the world was going to end. Sure enough, like I told them, in 3 or 4 months they’d be fucking their brains out and swearing the implant was the best invention ever.
We all have different experiences with this so I’m keeping my eyes and ears open. God willing I will wear my LGX out and if it lasts 10 years, I’ll be 73 (I’m 67 now) so I want to know as much as I can about revisions. I’ve got sort of an unusual configuration (18+5) but based on results I’m not going to tell the doctor he should have done it different. But since a revision typically adds 1-3 cm, I know enough now about what questions to ask surgeon beforehand. We also know a bit more about my internal anatomy.
Information overload on a guy contemplating an implant might be a pain in the butt, but it bears the he’ll out of not having all of the facts/opinions available. My experience is one Dara point, and since they’re cutting on your junk you cannot possibly gave too many data points. That’s why I still visit.

I've been here over ten years. My sex life ended twenty years ago after years of fumbling around with ED. I got an implant twelve years ago but never used it due to a stroke that ki!led what was left of my libido. So yes, I'm an old timer who still hangs around following a successful, if useless, implant procedure.

Interesting topic. I'm not sure what the future will bring between me & FT. I have received several messages in the past from local men that used my dr. I search their post history occasionally. As a general rule, they do visit but seldom post.
I'm thinking that is a common thing, if you don't know someones screen name, they might appear as missing. But with their names you can see their last log on. Well at least with my android phone I can.
A lot of my carreer was spent teaching/coaching a blue collar trade. It's hard to stop doing that in real life. So if I visit. Its likely that I'll post occasionally. Just need to ignore the negative members that will never get the info to decide to get an implant.
I see posts from long time members that are just clogging up the digital information freeway with endless repetitive questions.

I’ve been here 2 years and consider my surgery 150% successful. Occasionally someone will ask a question that I’ve experienced and I can answer. I check in probably 3-4 times a week

Glad you’re still hanging around Rider, I’m at 18 months out and it still keeps getting better.

After a year, I certainly check in less often. It's working great, and I need no advice. But occasionally I still get curious to see what's up. I visited multiple times in a week in the months before and after my operation. Now maybe once every month or two?

I try and check FT at least once a week, but to your point, celebrating two years this month I am not as active as I was before the implant, probably for reasons (my problem is/was solved).

Journeyman wrote:I agree . I'm new to Franktalk. I think it's an invaluable resource of information for all men , pre and post op . I stumbled upon this site the day AFTER my surgery when I was looking for more info on the coloplast titan 22cm ( what Dr. Clavell implanted me with ) . I don't know if it was residual effects from the anesthesia, but I was a little bummed out . I was hoping for 24cm or better . Well when I came across this site ( and it's search bar ) , you couldn't peel me away from my phone ( I was just sitting in the hotel room anyway, all black and blue , swollen and sore ) . I've been hooked since . Everyday I learn something new and I like to share my experiences.
I am much like Journeyman. I check out FT every evening before going to bed. I am always checking to see if I can help anyone with any situation that I went through and provide some insight. To answer the question, Do successful implant men stay on Frank Talk? YES WE DO!
