Postby 19cmbonepressed » Thu May 11, 2023 3:09 pm

hey
26 male here.

i had no erection for 3 years, since summer before covid.... some injury/damage... not gonna talk about it preferably.

anyway

i was interested in malleable because the pumping seems annoying and messy and more difficult to heal and multiple incisions...

I have read many implant stories here and some pump less and some have to pump 50? times to fill the implant... did not like that, and the pump buttons seems finicky....

anyway

this is gonna be my malleable story in the implant section....

Pumping is not annoying at all. It's great to be able to pump mine up in 30-45 seconds with about 30-35 pumps. It is not messy at all. Not sure why you think that? The buttons are not finicky, it just takes time to learn how to use them. Surgery for a malleable or an inflatable will be very similar as far as healing. Please research before you make a decision you regret. Best of luck.

Welcome to the forum, 19cmbonepressed and thanks for presenting the opportunity to weigh in on the choice of malleable fx inflatable.

There are reasons the inflatable implants are more commonly done than malleables. In use, they are superior to the malleable and FAR easier to live with when not having sex. These advantages outweigh the advantages of the malleable (easier for the sugeon to implant, cheaper cost of the implant, a little less discomfort in recovery since there is no reservoir or scrotal pump and likely longer service life).

Weight your options carefully before you make a decision.

There are reasons for a man to choose a malleable, but most are because an inflatable is clearly inappropriate or impossible for him. Inability to manipulate the pump (hand strength the usual culprit) prior surgeries making implanting the reservoir or pump impossible, and in one case mentioned here, a porn actor not wannting to have the pump visible in his movies.

Just had a Rigicon malleable implanted on June 30th 2023 3 days out. I have never experienced an inflatable surgery so have no experience to compare it to. Yes there are a lot more inflatable implants done than malleables done just because of different factors, we are hung up on size in this country for one ... yes they are harder to conceal but where do you plan on walking around naked>? The Rigicon has a lifetime warranty ... it bends 135% so it is one of the best malles as far as hiding. Can't tell you size loss or anything because he is so black and blue and swollen, but in my case have not had an erection for 3 years or more of any quality but did use a VED to get my penis stretched out before surgery. Dr. told me I will more than likely never have to replace it. My Dr. is Dr. Carrion whose father helped invent the implant back in the 70's, he is at USF in Tampa, Fl. and is the highest malleable implanter in the country. Perhaps if I were younger I might be wanting to preserve my size as much as possible in my case due to age 69 and many health issues it was the only implant offered to me. Do your research Rigicon now has an inflatable that is supposed to be great not sure on the warranty. One you go down this road there is no going back .. .take care
