What is considered a small penis?

There is more to sex than an erect penis. How do you maintain your sexuality both for yourself and for your partner? What techniques do you use to give both of you a great, satisfying sex life? How do you explore your own body and sexuality now that the rules have changed?

What is considered a small penis?

Postby Asquared65 » Thu Jul 06, 2023 9:32 pm

I am curious as to what is considered a small penis. Erect I’m around 4 - 4 1/2 inches, making me think I am on the smaller side. Pictures I see on here make most men’s penises seem to be 7” +. Wondering if most men are 7” or more like it seems on here.

Thanks

To be sure, men with larger penises are probably more willing to share dick pics online. 7"+ is not the norm

I have also noticed that most of the dicks on here are all over 7 inches and all the implants are 21cm or larger .. and as you know depending on the angle of the camera you can make anything look good ..

See/join measurection.com ,No competition with this forum at all.
7"+ is not normal, it is large. Men that size don't always think/understand that.
4.5" is not a problem for the right woman. You have what they call a "fat pad" over yours which contributes to you seeing it as smaller.
I am 5.5" the exact size considered mathematical average. Not bragging because to me it is not enough.
Only 20% of men are my size or bigger.
80% of men are my size or smaller.
This is not to start a battle of the inches. It is based on the top three most reliable studies. Half an inch either way does not matter to this if we can stay on topic. A person has a question and it's not easy for him to ask.

P.S. Looks fine to me.

The article was excellent.

I would add that a lot of other factors enter in to men’s self-perception.

You kind of need to keep this in perspective. 55% of men report they are satisfied by their penis size. 45% are dissatisfied. However, 85% of women report they are happy with their partner’s penis size.

Why are more men dissatisfied?

The view. A guy sees his from above. He sees other guys in shower/locker room from a totally different perspective. Other guys’ look bigger.

Shower vs grower. I might have been in my 30s before I even heard of this. I always assumed that everybody basically doubled in size when erect. I had no idea that some guys stayed the same size, it just got hard.

When did puberty hit? If you got lubes and a big dick at 12, your perception. Is going to be profoundly different than the guy who got left behind and got his growth at 17 or 18, even if the late bloomer ended up larger. He felt like the runt of the litter in showers/gym class and that experience endures regardless of what happens later.

This subject comes up and it drives home just what a dumbass I was. I was happily married in my 30s and pretty well convinced I was on the low side of average. Soft I was about 3 1/2”. Erect (my official before surgery measurement) was 6 7/8” length x 6.0” girth. I know I know. Somebody with nearly 7x6 is big but not huge. But a guy’s mind plays tricks and that organ in particular tends to rule the roost.

I’m now 67 and a bit older, smarter, and wiser. Fortunately I never let my perceived “inadequacy” keep me from doing anything. In the big scheme of things function is more important than style points.

One that doesn't satisfy you or more importantly your partner.

You could pack a solid 8 inches. But if it's unused or not usable (re: ED), it's pretty useless.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results
