And side note. Any way to put all my responses to various posters in one comment, not 3 like I just did lol
Forum code;
Quotes are started with the word quote in brackets
and ended with the the same thing except quote is preceded by a forward slash indicating the end of the quote
Just put what you want to quote between the starting quote and ending quote codes.
Code: Select all
And side note. Any way to put all my responses to various posters in one comment, not 3 like I just did lol
Which gives you:
And side note. Any way to put all my responses to various posters in one comment, not 3 like I just did lol
If you want the persons name listed that you're quoting then add the persons name inside the starting quote code, inside quotation marks but preceded by =
Close it as with the previous example bracket, forward slash, quote, end bracket. For example:
Code: Select all
And side note. Any way to put all my responses to various posters in one comment, not 3 like I just did lol
Which gives you:

As a short cut for multiple quotes, you can click on "Quote" in the forum response you want to quote and the forum software will reopen with the desired quote already in the proper code software. You can delete part of the text so it only displays the specific part you want to quote but please indicate somehow that the quote is just a partial. Make sure you leave the opening and closing quote codes.
Leaving that tab open you can then, in a separate tab re-open the same thread and then find the other response you wish to quote and again click "Quote" on the page. When it reopens with the quote code, just copy all of the text and then paste it into your already opened response but outside any other text, including the code. You can do this as many times as you wish but try to be reasonable and somewhat brief. Type your new response outside of any forum code.

Was that too confusing? I can try to do better.
