Two post-op questions

Postby JakOBson » Mon Jul 31, 2023 1:11 am

Fellow implanters,

Questions about the post-op week:

Anyone experienced difficulties urinating beyond a couple of first days? Like very reduced flow due to the implant semi-erected, post-catheter pain when urinating, impossibility to effectively empty the bladder?

Anyone experienced a post op change of shape of penis from perfectly straight before to a “broken” to the side with a palpable tube crease in the shaft at the place of the new curvature? If you did, is that something that goes away with the first pumping or a defect to be seriously worried of?

Thanks in advance,

Yes to both.
The peeing was a major issue for me for weeks. It as very slow to come out and took a long time to become a steady stream.
The crease or dog ears would go away after giving it a couple of pumps.

Yes, I had problems with a reduced urine stream, but I was able to empty my bladder, it just took longer.

I'm thinking you must have the Titan Coloplast implant, because you can get kinks until the implant gets softer down the road as you heal and start cycling the implant. I'll let the coloplast guys talk about there issues.

After the first few days peeing was no problem for me other than a slight burning sensation from the catheter use.
The shape of my penis has been near perfect since the implant. Although I lost length since my youth it's straight and hard.

Hi. I am at 6 days since getting my Titan implanted. It was hell peeing at first. I had to stand in the shower with with my hands against the wall leaning forward to get an any flow. It’s way better now. I just have to sit way back on the toilet to get my aim into the bowl. Semi erect I have the dog ears about half way up. It’s like having a hinge there. It bends easily. My semi erect penis is the most difficult condition I’m experiencing besides some shooting pains. It’s so tempting to deflate for a bit or to inflate to fix the creases but I’m committed to following the doctor’s instructions. Last night heat helped a lot. Best of luck to you.
