Pump and Tubing placement too far forward???

Postby Drhite » Tue Aug 01, 2023 4:40 pm

Can anyone shed some light on the pump/tubing placement along the shaft???? The pump is too far forward in my scrotum for my liking... I have a tight scrotum and it protrudes most of the time. When hanging low, its fine so now Im thinking about Scrotox....

Back to topic...

I'm at 5 weeks post op with LGX 18.5cm. But the tubing placement is 1.5" from the pubic bone... where the most pressure is applied during sex. Or LET ALONE GETTING ALL THE WAY IN FOR DEEPTHROAT!

I haven't tried yet with GF, but asked Doc numerous times... Wont this be like a road block??? The pump would have to go in the mouth/vag too??

Really freaking out!!

The pump should be below your nuts, if thats not the case then i would recommend a second opinion from a high volume doc.

So are your tubes behind any portion of the penetrable shaft?

Index finger is where the tubes drop down.. pushing down the pubic fatpad measures 1.25-1.5". So the pump's tubes "block" how far the scrotum stretches back... ie) deep throating to the pubic bone

I would recommend waiting, my base was super stiff, most likely some swelling as well. My base was painful cowgirl at 2 months, this last weekend it felt way better but still had very minor base pain during sex/ cowgirl only. All other positions i tried are fine.

Its substantially improved over the last few weeks, maybe yours will heal and be fine. Hope you update the thread… give it a few months before worrying too much.

A lot of us think at some point during the first few months of recovery that we’re “that guy” who has something very wrong. Numerous posts on this forum from experienced members point to the notion that it’s best to withhold judgement for a few months. Try not to worry.

Talk to your doc, sure. But good chance things will settle down. 7 months postop now. All good.

Thank you for your reply. It indeed is good to hear from peers. Follow up next week with doc. I am feeling better overall day by day. Will wait to give this time given so many here have had issues that resolved in time.

Sorry for bringing up the old thread, but did your tubing protrude out of your scrotum and did it end up softening/become unnoticeable eventually?
