Can’t fluff before injecting

I believe injecting in a semi-erect or fluffed up state is important in order to minimize damage and keep using injections long-term, as the needle will go through much less tissue in this way.

Are there any long-term users who are growers and inject totally flaccid, disproving this hypothesis?

I’ve been unable to get expansion before the injection. I know one user suggests pumping to prepare for the injection. This makes sense but would be very inconvenient with a partner. It is also much preferable not to need viagra to prepare for the injection.

What's long term? I'm at 11 years or so. I usually take Viagra beforehand as it help boost the erection but prior to injecting it does nothing. My ED is severe enough that I can't "fluff". So yes, I'm injecting totally flaccid. I've tried using a VED before injecting but without a constriction ring I deflate so fast it'd be like trying to shoot a moving target. I haven't really noticed any damage.

I actually tap the Corpus Cavernosum section like you would a vein before giving it a shot and since doing that haven't missed and have no pain at all and needle slides in with no resistance..

I've been injecting for about a year. My second injection missed the target, not even a chubby. My wife would not talk to me for two days.
I am a grower so in many cases, the little guy goes into hiding. I have used cock ring for years.

My routine is to first consult with my wife that sex is a go. This eliminates (most) unused Trimix erections that can last for over an hour.
I then put the cock ring on and force blood into the penis. The goal is to get chubby. Not more than 30-40% erect.
I then get the syringe ready and feel that corpora Cavernosa is at least slightly engorged.
I then select my target area to avoid any veins and aim directly into corpora Cavernosa.
I then fully insert the needle and slowly inject.

Doing this i haven't missed since.

PS cock ring can slow the erection since it limits blood from flowing. After injection I give myself a as slight massage to help fill it with blood
I would also note the cock ring I use is fairly stretchy and not overly tight.
Also as soon as sex is finished I carefully remove the cock ring. Its only on for 20-40 minutes.

It was probably me that was talking about using the VED to plump up prior to injecting. As I mentioned in another thread, I believe the benefits are two-fold. First, if you're a grower, it makes injecting much easier. Second, I believe a good 10 min pump session to stretch the penis helps reduce that achy feeling that some might have. These are just my observations and so far are what seems to work best for me.

When you say you can't fluff, I'm not sure what you mean. Have you tried using a VED to pump up? Certainly, if you're totally broken, like me, the penis will quickly deflate once the pump is removed. But if you use a soft silicone ring it should be enough to maintain a bit of plumpness to help out. I usually leave the ring on for about 10 mins while massaging the juice around in the penis. For some, wearing a ring also helps maintain a very rigid erection after injecting. But just make sure it's a soft enough ring that doesn't totally constrict your blood flow and can easily be removed while you have an erection. Your penis should stay warm... if your penis gets cold and looks blue, you have constricted the blood flow and the ring should be removed within 30 mins. That would be way too tight of a ring for this purpose.

I injected for 32 years before implant.

I was a fat grower. 3.5” flaccid. Erect nearly 7x6.

I was a firm believer in injecting totally flaccid. I did use a ring, but would inject immediately after putting it on. I believed I could feel where I was with the needle better in a flaccid state.

Over 32 years I probably injected at least 5000 times. Yes, I’ve got an implant now. No, I didn’t have any scarring, fibrosis, or Peyronie’s. I specifically asked the surgeon to be on the lookout for and he reported that everything was surprisingly unscarred and clean.
