I too could get hard before my implant, however I couldn't maintain it long enough to please a partner. My trepidation is an implant costing me yet another inch

Honestly, I don't see that happening. I just had my 3 month followup appointment. Dr had me inflate, said progress looked good. Got a few tips on pumping technics.
Out comes the dreaded ruler. I quickly told him that I had vowed to not measure for 1 whole year. Actually I lied to him. I do have a modest guess of where I'm at. His claim is that if you don't reach your stretched test at 3 months. Then you're not following his list of cycling. Surprise, I was .5cm over that. Surprisingly he was actually impressed that I had been so devoted to directions.

Interesting note. His nurse had told me that he had implanted a 101 year old man. I overheard the patient before me tell his birth year as 1919. I think I might of ran into this hero. Bless his heart.
Calm your fears. Find a skilled dr & get your implant. Lots of high quality dr's out there that don't get a ton of publicity. My dr has a full spectrum urology practice. He only does implants once a week. Usually between 2 to 4 a week. If a holiday falls on his implant day. He doesn't do implants that week.
