TexasMax- I didn't get much sleep the night before my implant, but that's about it. I should have been scared as shit since it was my first surgery ever as a 68 y/o adult. Didn't know crap about implants except it would allow me erections again. Hadn't found FT yet, doc did all the picking and choosing. I just went for the ride.

Yes Android, life with a broke has been shitty to say it nicely, there has NO spontaneous sex in years. if there was an attempt at it, it was a 60%'r and a race to beat the clock.

I know this is right,but holy crap Im nervous. i've been through other surgeries before where I didnt give a shit about anything.

Congrats TexasMax ! You did it ! You DM'd me awhile back . Dr. Clavell is great ! You won't be undersized . Implant life is AWESOME ! It'll change your life . ED is over . You'll get rolled down to the OR , put to sleep, and wake up bionic. Dr. Clavell will leave you pumped up approximately 60% . He tells you 6 weeks but more than likely will greenlight you for cycling AND SEX after 4 weeks. I texted him and sent pics of the incision. It healed really well and no signs of infection. He actually encouraged sex . I'm happy for you T-Max . Good luck

I figured, if I am going to end up doing this anyway, why wait any longer

I tell everyone to do like me in the hopes it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Approach it as if it’s no big deal. Minor surgical procedure. Outpatient. Your recovery will be routine & uneventful. Expect little to no real pain. Use ice. Don’t try to overdo it but don’t shy away from living your life asap. Your body is quite capable of letting you know if you overextend yourself.

The only two caveats: the night before is tough as you second guess yourself. From about day three to 2 weeks afterwards many guys go thru a “what the fuck have I done?” frame of mind.

These pass. I will be at the 4 year mark Dec 31, 2023. I scarcely remember the bad old days before implant. It’s a part of me. Using it is second nature now.

Every one Here wishing you good luck, good luck starts with a great dr. You have that. Now the hardest part is not the surgery ( you will have that ) its the first year, you will think its all good at 6 weeks…but it will be even better at 12 weeks and even better still @ year. It takes that long and more for your body/ mind to heal, let it all happen you will do great enjoy the process.
