First experience with Trimix. Is this normal?

When I first started on Trimix, I was injecting 10 units.
Got me hard in 10 mins and lasted 2+ hours
Being nervous should have nothing to do with it.
40 units is a lot.
I had to up my dosage as Trimix started to fail for me.
It is painful the more you use.
My uro told me when I first started with Trimix, that I would eventually need an implant.
Trimix worked for me for 8 years, I now have an implant.

Being nervous DOES have to do with the result. Even if injections are mostly "mechanical" result, the mental state changes the result.

I agree that being nervous affects things. When my urologist saw me I wasn't really nervous. I knew I didn't have to "perform" and things went well. The first time I injected on my own was about an hour before I was going to have sex and I was nervous about giving myself the shot and how long I would take to get erect and how long I would last. All that. It took longer than I though before I got a nice erection. Certainly longer than it took in the doc's office. She was patient and when I finally started to feel like my erection was going to be fine, she started and all was well. After a few times, I got hard in less time and I attribute that to being less nervous. I've always been like that though.
