Blue balls???

There is more to sex than an erect penis. How do you maintain your sexuality both for yourself and for your partner? What techniques do you use to give both of you a great, satisfying sex life? How do you explore your own body and sexuality now that the rules have changed?

Postby retired65 » Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:38 am

Had a prostatectomy back in 2015, implant 2017. No sex since 2022 masturbated a few times (wife thinks it's sick to masturbate) anyhow last couple of days I had what if feels like "Blue Balls", question: Is it possible to have BB after a prostatectomy???

Epididymal hypertension (blue balls) is common shortly after a prostatectomy. Given how long it has been since yours, perhaps you should check with your urologist.
Birth Year 1959, Happily married to wife since 1987. On TRT since age 45, started sildenafil at age 48. Had lifesaving abdominal surgery at 61 with lost erectile function following surgery. Started trimix in January 2023 at age 63.

Good recommendation to see a Urologist. There are a couple of underlying medical conditions that could cause your symptoms. If it is in fact EH, the situation should resolve, but things like epididymitis, kidney stones or varicoceles could mimic EH.

Yes. If I don't empty my boys at least once a week they feel swollen and get sore. However, the soreness is not what I call pain. If you are having pain it may be good to see a urologist.
BTW- Masturbation is not sick or gross.
