Pre implant appointment

So, I've been putting this implant off for three years for various reasons.

My pre surgery work is coming up and will be followed with a surgical date.

My urologist is familiar with my situation. After failing pills, trimix worked about 2 years, quadmix worked best but made me incredibly sick so no go there....

Specifically, what can I expect with this visit?

Welcome to the site. Doctors differ a great deal. So there is no way to really tell unless you provide a doctors name and location and there is someone who went to that doctor on this board to give information, Some doctors do testing and others do not. I had no testing done other than a UA and a surgery certification. Others have imaging and even induce an erection. Only thing the doctors I went to did was a brief examination and a stretch estimate. That estimate is really worthless. It is just a low estimate to give the doctor a base line to hopefully exceed. You will get a truly HUGE bolus of answers if you do not wait for current members to reply, but just cruise through a couple years of posts in the "implants" section and click on ones that look fruitful. A lot of good information from members no longer here, so some information that you will not otherwise get. Many, many threads discussing exactly what you need to know, including a couple of really good posts listing the questions a prospective implantee should have in a list. Best advice is ask the doc anything and everything you are concerned about. They have heard all the strange, funny, weird questions before.

FT site is a great resource! I recorded my pre op visit on voice memo on my phone so I could listen to it a few times....When you are actually with the doctor you will miss many details in his/her responses. My pea sized brain was swimming with questions and what if's so I missed a few pertinent details. It was nice to have as a reference.

Read the "Documents Worth Reading List" in the General Discussion Thread.

My personal favorite is the pfd pamphlet that Tangerine authored. I read it every day. I believe Thailandbound has also recently recommended that.
