Good day guys,
In Canada, CAVERJECT has been out of stock for more than a year now... Is it the same thing in the USA and other parts of the world?

CAVERJECT
I'm 39 years old. Never was able to maintain my erections for more than 1 minute. Pills don't work. Had sclerotherapy by Dr. Kuehhas in Austria in 2016. Didn't work. Injections (Caverject) are the only things that gave me acceptable results.
Re: CAVERJECT
I don't know.
I originally started on Caverject's competitor, Edex. Due to cost I switched to a compounded substitute, a mono-mix of alprostadil in bacteriostatic water. I sourced it from a compounding pharmacy that is certified to compound injection meds. It has worked well for me. I did get my doctor to write the script stronger at 80mcg/ml so I could inject less. You could see if it can be sourced in Canada or if near the border you could possibly get a script and pick it up in the U.S. As it comes already dissolved in water it should be kept frozen between use.
Good luck.

Hello bldoink
[quote][/it should be kept frozen between use]
I am doing the same exact thing (80mcg/m ) as you stated from a copounding pharmay. According to the pharmacy they stated is to refregidate the mix. I bought 2 X5 ml and i did not freeze and the shelf life is 3 month. I barley used 1 vial. From your experience if I froze do you think it will it work and will it extend the shelf life more than 3 month?
Thanks

Re: CAVERJECT
I've used alprostadil mono-mix that was kept frozen that was well over a year old. It worked fine. The stuff I'm using now is 6 months old, and kept frozen. It works like new.

I'm also using a compounded substitute right now, but I don't find it as practical as Caverject, especially when travelling, because it needs to be refrigerated.

Re: CAVERJECT
Yes, when traveling the Caverject and Edex cartridges have benefits. However, I haven't found traveling with the compounded mix to be that troublesome.

Why not use Trimix, or Bimix. I live in Ontario, and had no trouble getting Trimix.
Originally my family doctor ordered Caverjet but the cost was outrageous, so I got a referral for a urologist who set me up with Trimix.
Trimix is much cheaper even factoring in Justinflation.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

What is the longest time you have a syringe out of the freezer that kept in room temperature before you inject and it worked perfectly (or have you encountered and issue). Thank you.

Re: CAVERJECT
I live in northern Europe and Caverject is out of stock here. There is no information when it will be available again. Might take 1-2 years as it took last time when it was not available. Trimix is not sold here. Invicorp is fridge material and I dont use it. So it will be sexless life for me for a long time.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.
Re: CAVERJECT
I found info that Caverject will be available in January in 2025.
