Implanted on 11/19

Postby p1s8d2 » Wed Nov 20, 2013 3:32 pm

Well gentlemen, I've joined the club. I was implanted yesterday morning at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Everything went as planned. They kept me overnight for observation and kept my pain under control. I am by no means ready to run a marathon, but I feel pretty good. Walking is difficult as I maneuver around this very much inflated nut sack :P , but the swelling is as anticipated and I have very little bruising. So, I am taking off a few weeks from work and using FMLA medical leave to rest. I got some big plans for Christmas this year!!!!!!!! So for all those considering the implant and reading all of these other posts as I did over and over again, I can now personally attest to a procedure that went as anticipated; I have been able to successfully manage my pain; and I have a hopeful outlook. I wish you all the best.

Congrats on your implant. Keep your Christmas plans flexible as people heal differently so you might not be ready for action until a few weeks after Christmas. But your time will come when it does so have patience.

Welcome to the club and congratulations so good to hear you are doing well.

Now it's feet up for a while, rest when you need to, pain meds as prescribed, take each day as it comes.

And wait for the fun to begin!!!

Glad things went well for you and hope it continues. I was implanted on 9/23 and activated 11/5. We planned our event and planned some adjustment time for 11/9 - 11 with a business trip of mine - taking advantage of some down time between meetings. Because we had gone 6 yrs+ without intercourse (and basically everything else as well), we anticipated some adjustments. Due to wife's medical conditions, we also knew we would have to adjust. We sure wouldn't take pictures of the occassion but I can tell you the experience was out of this world! I still have not climaxed during intercourse but have come close each time. I have asked my wife to talk to me more because my main objective is to please her, but I still want the experience of intercourse climax.

We are going taking it slow but having satisfying encounters every 4-5 days as I heal and we learn how it works. Has opened up more communication, more cuddle time, and believe you me - much confidence for my male ego.

Trust things will go well. If you want to walk through this as brothers in the experience, PM me some time. I have discovered not all are here to discuss the implant and some conversations can go to areas I do not really want to go.

Felicidades! It's good to know everything in advance and thus being prepared for uncomfortable things to come.
Who was your surgeon? Dr. Burnett?
