My plan is an anti-fibrotic diet/supplements until I find a urologist that uses low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy(focused not radial)
it is key to get it done by a professional with a real shockwave machine, not that bullshit gains wave that just hits you with air
This German urologist seems to know his stuff, especially regarding shockwave therapy https://www.youtube.com/@UroChannel1A
Im thinking about that route before considering an implant, even stem cells before the implant.
Think about it, in my case and your case we would be throwing both cavernosal bodies just because less than 10% of the tunica albuginea(not even the corpora) has fibrosis.
Sometimes i even consider just eating pussy before an implant but maybe Im wrong and the implant might be the best choice

I had the exact same thing injury which was only visible in the flaccid state. According to medical literature ESWT is ineffective getting rid of fibrotic tissue. Stem cells are experimental and may or may not have efficacy. It all depends on how much money and time of your life you’re willing to give up not having satisfying sex and rehabing your dick. If you’ve got lots of cash for uncovered experimental procedures and don’t mind waiting months/years for “potential” results then experimental treatments may be right for you.

ESWT is has been shown as a good way to reduce pain and curvature in peyronies. Also one study of how ESWT cured a man with penile trauma https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7044525/
Anyways, penile implants are also not free and there is no way back once you've done it.
You have an imlant right? What do women think about it?

Thats a case study bro I asked Dr. Trost the head of the urology department at Mayo clinic and my surgeon Dr. Hakky about it and both dismissed stem cells and ESWT for Hourglass peyroines.

Girls love it so far not a one has noticed I'm implanted and if they have they havent said anything and have come back for more. The only difference I can tell between my implant and my natural dick is the angle is lower than before. I actually gained half an inch in length and got all my girth back plus some extra I got with filler because I wasn't sure it would come back so now I feel like a pornstar!

If you have scar tissue in your penis (especially hourglass, dents, or other advanced "curverature") xiaflex will not work and it is likely to get WORSE over time. Watching my dick deteriorate and atrophy hoping things would get better like a lot of the guys do is not something I was interested in.

A case study that shows that it works for penile rehab. Dude had a blue dick from hematoma and ED after the trauma. All reversed after eswt. The docs say that doesn't work because medicine is a conservative field. Only after decades and hundred of papers, they'll consider it.
The urologist from the Mayo Clinic.... is an appeal to authority.
Nice that it worked out well for you. Personally, I'll wait a year dump some money into stem cells and ESWT while I fuck with my crooked dick and eat pussy like a champ. I really like getting hard from mental stimulation and that will be gone after an implant that why Im reluctant
if it does not work I'll go with the implant I guess

Most of the guys without ED that get it for PD get excellent engorgement (naturally hard). Although I definitely don't get as hard (without inflating) as I did preop I have woken up with NTE's and still get hard enough for sex off engorgement alone.

Hey guys, I’m about 2 weeks out from my surgery now and having lots of different feelings. I think I’ve gone back and forth between canceling the surgery and not about 100 times in the last month. Ultimately, I know the only answer is surgery since I can hardly have sex in my current state. It makes the decision easier when you’re at that point.

After a lot of reading I’ve decided to opt for the Penescrotal approach.

I just filled the prescriptions sent over by the surgeon. They were: Gabapentin 300mg, Ketorolac 10mg (for pain), Oxycod( for pain) and SMZ/TMP (antibiotic).

I really don’t like medications, but I think the pain meds will be necessary at least in the beginning. I am hesitant to take Gabapentin based on what I read about it. Do you all think that’s really necessary? I plan to ask my surgeon that before surgery, but curious what you all think. What meds did you take post surgery?

Re: Meds: looks like your Doc is giving you a range of options - which is nice given that we all have different pain tolerances and responses to surgery. I used acetaminophen (Tylenol), ice, walking, resting with feet and groin elevated a bit, and supportive underwear. And - as a stomach sleeper I learned real quick that didn't work the first week or so - a pillow between the knees helped. Yes - there was some significant discomfort - but bearable. And of course - you have to take the antibiotics!
Somewhere on the journey after prostate cancer surgery 2019 - AMS 15/5 IPP 2 years later - saved by a very supportive wife and a great surgery team at Johns Hopkins.
