Quick question - Lubes

Postby RJ_in_Pa » Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:26 pm

Is there any difference/benefit to using one lube versus another?

My VED came with Aqua Gel. Is it okay to use KY or even generic lube?

Water based lube should be good for anything. Silicone lube is supposedly bad for anything made out of silicone. Other than that I guess it's whatever floats yer boat.

When we use water-based lube I'm careful about the ingredients. Not so much for me as for her.https://www.self.com/story/6-lube-ingredients-to-avoid

We also use a silicone and have had no trouble with toys or Osbon rings. It is recommended you put a dab or so on the device in question and check the next day before using silicone lube.
