Trimix and Testosterone

38 Male Spinal Cord Injury 20+ years, been utilizing viagra since with varied success. But the side effects of Viagra are becoming too much and starting to interfere with the intimacy aspect.

So I decided to finally try Trimix, I entered the male health clinic under the impression that I wanted to get my testosterone checked and also Trimix injections. They check my testosterone around 450 and said that due to another aspect can’t remember I was a candidate but was waiting for another blood result to make sure.

While waiting for the blood result(few days to come back) I was injected with .2 ml of Trimix which resulted in a erection that was ok but not ideal for penetration and only lasted a little over an hour. Kind of bummed he assured me that it would work better once I got into action(Not the case, either works well or not). A few days later went in for the results of my testosterone and redrew blood, T level was 550. They said was a candidate still, so I decided just to try it and was injected with 180. Seven days later was finally able to try Trimix again with my wife, I injected .225 the see for better results. I’ve received possibly the best erection since my accident, extremely rigid/firm. Lasted 4+ hours and had to take Sudafed for it to go down. During the next week for me second testosterone shot they recommended me try around .1 ml next time as that dosage sounded to high. So I injected .125 next time and received another extremely firm erection lasting 2 hours perfect! Well I didn’t really see any benefit of the TRT, besides make me feel more horny or could have been the excitement of my new found cure for ED; so I didn’t go back for another round of testosterone. Next round 2 weeks after stopping the testosterone injections my fourth injection was very similar to the first one in office, erection not fit for penetration and only lasted an hour, figured maybe this was misfire even though I’m pretty certain I hit the right spot as I have an erection.
Few days later tried again with the same results. I started to think what changed and only thing was the testosterone shots, so I went back and got injected with another 180 to see and sure enough a few days later injected with an extremely firm erection lasting 2 hours. I have noticed also while on T injections my flaccid state is more healthier and normal looking.

Anyone else has experienced this? I don’t want to be on Testosterone injections for the sole reason of getting the Trimix to effectively work. What could be an alternative for me to have the same results.

Are these truly miss fires even though I’m getting an erection and merely coincidence with the timing of Testosterone shots?

Libido increase from TRT results in better effectiveness of Injection, even though I don’t believe I had this issue before?

Higher/certain levels of testosterone required for max effectiveness of Injection?

Just all the crazy thoughts running through my head, i got a taste of the sweet life and want this to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.
I can't do testosterone so not much experience to share.
It can often take some experimentation to get the injections perfected. You could be having some partial misses.

That’s what the NP is suggesting that I’m just not hitting the right spot, but the concept of a partial miss is just odd to me and as I’m either in the corpora or not. It’s just odd reading the others post that a miss fire is when it doesn’t work at all. I guess will have to stay off the testosterone for a while and keep injecting to see I’m truly just not injecting properly. If after ten or so injection I don’t see any firm results, than maybe the miss fires aren’t the issue.

Most guys that are injecting refer to their doses, by volume, in U-100 insulin units because the vast majority of guys us U-100 insulin syringes. There are 100 U-100 insulin units per ml/cc so your log, if I understood it correctly:

Injection Log
10/27 - Office Injection(L) .2 ml 1 Hr Weak = 20 units

11/7 - Home Injection(R) .225 ml 4+Hr Firm = 22.5 units

11/16 - Home Injection(L) .125 ml 2Hr Firm = 12.5 units

11/25 - Home Injection(R) .1 ml 1Hr Weak = 10 units

11/30 - Home Injection(L) .125 ml 1Hr Weak = 12.5 units

12/3 - Home Injection(R) .125 ml 2Hr Firm = 12.5 units

That's relevant if you're using U-100 insulin syringes which the vast majority of guys use. It's also relevant to others reading your posts as most guys doing injections are thinking in U-100 units. Technically either way is correct.

You most certainly can have a partial miss. There are numerous older posts on injection techniques guys have found to be successful if you read through older posts.

I don't have any useful thoughts about whether or not the T-shots will greatly effect the effectiveness of the tri-mix. I'm curious as to what the strength of your mix is?? Anyhow, check your PMs.

The units conversion on my log looks correct, it just what the dr told me in ML. Will use units instead in forward discussions.

That's a pretty weak mix. You have a lot of room for future increases.

trimix still requires good testosterone imo
