Any 6” girth AMS CX penises here?

I am at day 8 post-surgery, and all is going well with the AMS 700CX. I will post all the surgical measurements and the “in process” after photos. I am confident that I will not have lost any length, and may well increase my pre-surgical girth of 7”. I am posting a journal of daily photos by tomorrow.

I am only ten days out, but I can already measure that I did not lose any girth at the base, but so far, have more tapering than before. I have an AMS 700 CX. Here are the before and after photos. (My girth was 7.5" with a pump.)

Take this with a grain of salt, but it is advised on the peyronies forum to stay away from doctors who only use one brand of implant.

Be aware too that the 24cm titan expands more in girth than the 22cm, and the 26cm expands more in girth than the 24cm. So, if you have a larger crus, the doctor may be able to input a 24cm titan with increased girth. Dr Eid does state that 6 inch girth is possible with a 24cm titan.

My understanding of AMS, is that they do not expand in diameter as much as titans. Thus, most doctors prefer titan for penis with longer length/girth (length usually corresponds with girth).

May be a good idea to consult with another doctor that uses both titan and AMS.

Does anybody know the maximum girth potential for these various sizes? Specifically, the 22 cm Titan Coloplast? There must be a table somewhere.

Unfortunately, some of that girth was actually swelling. I am at 13 weeks and have been doing serious cycling and using an external pump. I have only managed to get to 6.5" girth twice, it is usually 6" now when fully pumped, which is a loss of 1.5" of girth. I have recovered the half inch of lost length though. I can only tolerate being pumped that hard for 30-40 minutes. For extended periods I need to be at about half-mast, which results in 7.5" x 5-3/4" girth.

Thought I was sure I wanted a Titan because of my size. There is a high volume doctor that I saw but he only does AMS. He is a high volume implanter and trains other doctors, done over 7000 implants. Another member recently used him with great results and looks like he is keeping his 5.5” girth at present. I know everyone gets different results but would like to hear from you men that kept 6” or greater girth with a AMS CX?

A lot of guys on FT say its only a little bit of loss and its better to have a working Dick, that stays hard and can get hard when you want it, for as long as you want it or she needs it. That is fantastic and i cannot argue with that. Us Men that's still on the back side have questions and concerns, that's why we ask questions. We just want the best outcome when we do get implanted and make sure we have made best decision based on as much information as we can get. A lot of times that is not from the in office visit with a Doctor. Ive found more information on FT or High Volume Implant Doctors videos on you tube than i have in all the years i have battled ED and the office visit with doctors.

I'm an engineer and came up with the exact same calculations as you. I do need to point out though that in Clavell's video he shows the CX and Titan to have a circumference of 6.5 cm and 7 cm respectively which translate to 20.7mm diameter for the CX and 22.3mm diameter for the Titan. Remember the cylinders can expand beyond the manufacturer published nominal values if you over inflate them. I went to my docs office and inflated both cylinders. The CX cylinder reservoir was filled to 100ml and I was able to inflate it to Clavell's published value of 20.7mm but the Titan cylinder reservoir was filled to 75 ml and I was only able to achieve a diameter of 21mm. Using Clavell's values and the two cylinder side by side equation of (pi*diameter+2*diameter) you get a minimum theoretical total circumference of two side by side cylinders to be 4.2 inches for the CX and 4.5 inches for the Titan.

But when the corpora gets dilated, the docs use a 12mm dilator in most cases so you typically would have a lot of leftover corporal tissue. I would postulate that as long as those tissues remain healthy you would be able to maintain your original girth even gain some in some cases. Once tissue thinning occurs over time for a host of different reasons (for example the leftover corporal tissue thins out due to lack of peripheral blood supply, remember the main artery gets obliterated) only then the two device would start making a small difference in diameter. But they would both result in significant loss of girth if someone was for example at 6 inch girth.

I understand well that you don't guarantee what you wrote, but do you confirm that according to your knowledge, installing a CX instead of a Titan should have the same circumference up to 5.5"?,
mine is 5.2" so I should fit in so as not to lose girth right?

These calculations that sambalamba and myself have done are just math from the cylinder sizes. These dimensions are the cylinders sitting sise by side say on a table. There is so much more that determines the outcome of the size of your penis after the implant. This information is for reference only and to help each person understand the cylinders better to have a more informed discussion with your doctor and sizing or brand is best for you.
