Finally, my consultation with surgeon, Dr Morey

Big day today, I finally got to visit with Dr Allan Morey, SouthWest Medical Center in Dallas, for a "look at me" and consultation. I had not considered the December rush (deductables and the unknown of future to individuals insurance status), so it was very busy for Urology Center and doctor. Visit was a bit of rush, but I liked the doctor and believe I made a good choice. My idea of getting surgery done in 10-14 days was almost a joke as doctor commented six had wanted that this morning. I was trying to give myself 8-10 weeks post surgery for a scheduled trip in late Feb. No big deal, now I have more time to get things done through Christmas, get home from trip, and learn more from those here post-op and/or about to get surgery.
Doctor gave me the stretch and once over, told me he could not give me length but if I wanted more girth then the Coloplast Titan was what he would use. I was surprised that the Titan was choice for girth after reading so much about the AMS LGX giving more girth and perhaps additional length. Maybe it is a per individual thing or maybe there have been improvements in this area for Titan. I did not really care, I just wanted him to use what he thought the best choice.

Anyway, my date is set for 7 AM March 11th so one step closer. Pre-op March 10th.
