Terrified, lost 1 inch post op, lgx 18 +1

Hello everyone,
following a terrible accident I lost all chance to have an erection. So I got implanted 2 weeks ago.
Before surgery I was about 14 cm in length (5.5 inches) in full erection (I measured this 2 days before surgery using the vacuum).

The doctor with infrapubic method installed me with a LGX 18 + 1 cm Rear tip on both side, with 90 cc reservoir (on the surgical measurement doc said I measured about 19 cm total so he went with LGX 18+1, i don't know proximal and distal measurement).
Now after two weeks from the op I am starting to cycle, and I can give something like 4-5 pumps and it seems I can't pump anything more because the pump is too hard, and I also start to have pain in the glans.

I am shocking to see that I am now at about 10 cm (about 4 inches) of length so it seems I have lost something like 3-4 cm (more than 1 inch in loss) in length: I am completely terrified.

Please guys tell me something before I lose my mind.

I read that the LGX 18 should extend to +3 cm, if that's true it's like having an implant of total size of 22 cm. Can I be so short with this ?

i’m confused a bit by your post.

You say that you? “lost all ability to have an erection“. But then you go on to say that your pre-surgical erection length was 5.5 inches.

The question is, how long had it been since your last erection? how did you measure your pre-surgical length when erect if you are unable to get an erection?

According to Dr. Perito, who only does infra pubic installations, such as yours, he says “the day of your last erection is the day that your penis begins to shrink“. Also, he says “ it is not the implant that will cause your penis to shorten, it is ED“.

So, if that is the case, and if you, in fact, have not had the ability to have an erection, for sometime, your penis probably did shrink. Perhaps you measured it while you still had the ability to have an erection, and it has been sometimes since that date. in that case, your penis would have shrunk thereby denying the surgeon the ability to put an implant in that restores your full 5 1/2 inches.

So perhaps you could clarify that a bit before anyone can make a more educated opinion as to your issue.

And remember, anything you read here from its members will be only that. An opinion. Ultimately, this is going to be between you and your doctor.

but to give you some hope, if you will read back through the many archived posts, addressing the subject of restoration of length post implant, you will see that many of the members here did, indeed, have their full length restored. I was one of them. I was somewhat shorter after my surgery, and now, one year postop I am about 1 cm longer than my original length, with larger girth. So, being so fresh from surgery, you still have some healing and growing to do.

Regarding the size I measured 14 cm in erection using the vacuum 2 days before surgery (I kept using the vacuum to not lose size) and I also I used the penis stretcher tool. I was about the same size of the vacuum erection before the ED.

Keep trying to pump as much as you can until your dick is sore. Then keep it like that for a while. Consider Perito's THE exercise after inflation, and VEDs.

This will be a slow process. So don't get upset if you only gain .2" after a month. You've got at least a year and probably more to get back your size. So quit freaking out and just exercise it. It's not hard - more is probably better but committing 15 or 30 minutes a day should also be sufficient.

thanks brother !!! I will cycle as much as I can and later I will also do perito exercies. I don't ask much i would be happy to recover a couple of cm. Your words give me hope, only thing that I can have now.

If you read the post-op stories of practically every implanted guy on here you’d find that what you’re seeing is typical/normal -and, more important- temporary.

No, it’s not a perfect correlation (ie x cm implant = y length dick) but there is a correlation. Take a deep breath and believe me when I tell you that 19 cm of implant is likely plenty to end up giving you a 5 1/2” dick.

I had 23 cm of LGX & RTEs installed infrapubically. Two weeks after surgery I was nearly 2” shorter (from 6 3/4 to just under 5). I put on a brave face but no, I was pretty bummed.

I’d try to pump and the bulb was hard, like squeezing a rock. I thought I was moving some fluid but it was not what I expected.

You’re going to have residual swelling that lasts 2 or 3 months. You may not be able to get a good bone pressed erect length measurement until then. But you e told me nothing that most of us haven’t seen and gone thru ourselves.

It’s fine. Heal. Cycle. It takes time. I’d bet a huge amount of money that between 6 months/1 year your dick will be exactly what it was pre-surgery.

An implant seldom makes you larger. But if properly done all the size comes back, except maybe a tiny fraction of an inch (in my case 1/16th of an inch, .065)

You’ll be fine. If you surveyed the guys on here who have between 5” and 6” I think you’d find the overwhelming majority have between 18 & 20 cm worth of implant.

I personally would not go with VED measurements. Even while i still had normal erections the fully pumped VED made me appear WAY bigger than a natural erection…by a full inch. I’d also engorge and fill the shaft tube to a degree i couldn’t achieve naturally. But i’m a believer in them as facilitators of continued and healthy blood flow.

Relax. It may take a year for your body to fully recover and establish whatever normal will be.

This is why I'm pumping aggressively now, have not had my consultation yet (2 weeks out) but from what I've read it damn sure cant hurt!
