Taken Viagra twice before and had no side effects
3rd time I had hives that started about 6 hours after and lasted a few days. Has anyone that is allergic to any one of the pills been able to take another pill (Viagra cialis levitra and spedra)
Might be allergic to Viagra
Re: Might be allergic to Viagra
Welcome to the forum!
It could have been the Viagra but not necessarily. I'd talk to your doctor and ask him/her to consider a trial of a lesser amount. Probably very early morning so non emergency medical care is an option. Benadryl might be an option.
Hives is listed as a rare side effect: https://www.drugs.com/sfx/viagra-side-effects.html

Sorry for the late reply but I will get an allergy test for Viagra and one more think is that it could be one of the ingredients used to make the specific pill I took since the first time I used Viagra it was a different generic and had some different ingredients.
Also have u ever experienced hives from Viagra

No, although I do get increased tinnitus, the stuffy nose, and sometimes heartburn.

I see. The main concern here is that if I’m allergic to one of them I could be allergic to all of them since they all chemically similar.
Just gonna have to pray I’m not and hope for the best.
Il post and update of the allergy test results if ur interested. Thanks for the reply.
Re: Might be allergic to Viagra
Not related to your experience but with Viagra I got pink vision. I tried cialis and have found it far more stable and less troublesome.

Good sign shows the body reacts differently to other drugs. Seen a few stories of allergies and even an anaphylactic reactions to Viagra but able to take the other pills so there’s hope lol

Good news I tried a different generic that has different ingredients which make the tablet coating a few days ago and had no hives or other reactions. Praise God I feel so relieve. I think what I experienced was either a one of side effect or an allergy to the tablet ingredients not the actual Viagra. I will have to find a way to buy generics with a different tablet coating or try cialis.
Also I booked a doctors appointment but it is scheduled in about 2 months.
