Hi Guys.
A little concern that might be normal; I am not sure.
I have never felt the reservoir before, but yesterday, I noticed a tough ridge that felt like tubing. After I felt it more, I am inclined to think it is the reservoir.
Standing it visually protrudes, but while sitting, it does not.
It seems mine is placed very low in the abdomen, like just above the pubic bone or area to the right. My concern is this reservoir has pulled down somewhat and mostly because over the last 2 weeks or so I have been implanted I had never noticed it.
Thanks in advance if you have any advice.

Thanks for your quick comment.
Yes, I have become very slim, as prior to the operation, I had chronic gastritis and lost 10 kilos very quickly.
Would you say your reservoir is very low in the abdomen, like close to the pubic area -- if that makes sense?
Thanks

Re: Is it Normal to Be Able to Feel the Reservoir
I was curious about this too, I'm a little over 5 weeks out. I was also done penoscrotal by Dr Clavell though.
I always knew where the reservoir was because I could feel it internally (felt like a punch to the lower right side abdomen) but I could never actually feel it externally, by touch with my hand or anything. Never had a visible bulge etc... until now.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm able to deflate a lot better than I had been or what, but lately I've been having the soreness I experienced very early post op. Also I can now visibly see a ever so slight bulge on the lower right side just where my pubic hair starts. I can also feel what I expect to be tubing and maybe the pouch right behind it I'm not sure. Not a big issue and not noticeable if it STAYS like it is currently but I was just worried it's moving or something.
I have avoided all lifting per the doctors instructions and I'm scheduled to hopefully be cleared next week at the follow-up appointment with him. I usually just feel discomfort in the reservoir area when I'm getting in and out of my car or bending over to put my socks on, stretching in bed etc. But lately I feel like it's been a little more pronounced.

Re: Is it Normal to Be Able to Feel the Reservoir
I am slim and Eid told me he would be placing high in my abdomen and to one side. It is level with my navel and to my left side. It is somewhat obvious when I am shirtless (beach or naked lol) but not that bad. I do feel it occasionally, particularly when doing abb crunches during my workout, but it doesn't hurt I just know it's there. But it is not something to distract from getting an implant! I am so happy I did that!

Yours was placed infrapubic though, correct? I think procedures done infrapubic have more "options" as to the placement of the reservoir. And I agree 1000% this would in no way detract from the satisfaction I currently have with my decision to go through with the implant. I just want to make sure this thing isn't moving too much or if it is hopefully it's normal.

Mine was replaced deeper ( second surgery) and to my right side about naval height. And most of the time I don’t notice but yes many times im aware of it being there at nearly 4 years out.

I am on the same page as you as my reservoir is nowhere near my navel, and like you, it was only last night that it became easy for me to feel and slightly visible.
Mine is only a few inches --if that- from my dick in the pubic area.
I was wondering if the swelling went down and that exposed it more but also like you thinking it has come down.
My incision is scrotal.
I will also note though that discomfort and swelling of the balls has gone down a lot which is great.
Another thing worth noting was I used this special foot stool for the toilet which helps people with constipation have a number 2 (it is like a posh way of squat pooing). This did fold in my abdomen somewhat and then with a little straining, who knows maybe that pushed it down. That was yesterday and yesterday is when I spotted and felt the reservoir.

I'm not fat , was also done by Clavell , and I have zero awareness of the reservoir or its placement

Thanks.
This might warrant a trip to the hospital tomorrow as it's not looking too promising.
