Satisfaction with MPP
Although patient satisfaction rates are higher with the IPP, the satisfaction rates with the MPP can be considered quite good. A review of IPP and MPP satisfaction rates found that the mean satisfaction rates with an IPP and a MPP were 86.2% (range 85.8–88.3%) and 75.1% (range 66.1–88.7%), respectively [31].****
The issue with studies based on observations or questionnaires lies in the fact that the individuals receiving these implants differ significantly (e.g., those undergoing initial versus corrective procedures, or active versus paralyzed patients). To truly understand the effects, we require randomized, sham-controlled trials involving participants of similar backgrounds to eliminate confounding factors and placebo effects.
Me & My Genesis Malleable
Re: Me & My New Malleable
I know the guy who have rigid implant (even not mallabale). He lives with that implant already 26 years and it still works well and no pressure atrophy.
Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable
I have had a few people PM me and ask if my size has went down since surgery, I'm glad to report the length is the same at 7 inch's but the girth has went from just over 7 inch's in diameter to 6 -3/4, I don't think it will decrease anymore, all the swelling is completely gone now and everything looks and feels great.

After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.

Nice
67years,fighting ed for over twenty years. A sever break, vit E, pataba, Viagra, massage Ved cilas, and I'm tired- throwing in the towel, Op for implant Mar 18, 2021 AMS LGX 18 x12 + 1 3cm RTE, gained girth and length, very glad I took the hard step.
Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable
Hey Driver, what was your size before ED with your natural size vs your size with IPP vs your size now? Bell
30 yrs old. Current IPP failed in 2022. Waiting revision. No insurance. I’ve had both Titan & AMS.
Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable
Your girth went down because 13 is the max size for both tactra and genesis
Should’ve gone with rigicon as they have size 14 diameter
I have 5.8 girth and size 13 may be ok for me but not for you

Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable
I'm not sure of my size before all of this, I really didn't look into that much back then, all I can say to the prior size is that there isn't all that much difference between the IPP and the MPP, but with all the size concern I figured I would post what I do know.
I don't think I lost much length thru all of this, still around 7 inch's and the girth at 6 -3/4 is while not engorged, I'll have to measure girth this weekend when the wifey is getting it worked up.
As far as choosing the Genesis my surgeon told me that the rigicon was more mechanical like a stem of a lamp stem with many small internal core sections that move in a similar way that the lamp stem moves and he and his staff recommend the Genesis when doing MPP's, tried and true I guess, and thats fine with me.
Rufian, my size dropped since surgery because the swelling is now completely gone,
And as far as asking for a larger diameter rod, the surgeon decides that in surgery when he is fitting you for an implant and will give you as much as he can so a good surgeon will fir you correctly, if your just looking for the biggest tool then you got to take your chances with the IPP.
Get your mind off that size thing, the doc, will give you everything he can,,, and go with what is right for you and your situation, that meaning (age, health, financial state, and state of mind) all of these will or should play into your decision at some point of your choice.
In the mean time, the wifey and I be giving this MMP a good test drive this weekend as long as the Doc, says I'm good to go this morning on the zoom meeting.

Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable
Originally I was sure to go with the malleable as I was too frightened to go with the 3 pc. Went with the Coloplast Titan and 15 months in I have no regrets. The info on here is interesting and valuable. I suppose I'm praying that I won't be needing revisions etc. Thanks for the info.
Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable
Hi guys! Does it matter to you, how long the warranty lasts when picking out an implant? I think Rigi10/Tactra? gives a lifetime warranty, and Coloplast covers you for 10 years.
