ANY VED is going to cause that "hinge effect"

if you want to hold an erection, you must use one of the smaller diameter rings

I use one of these foam sleeves. If there is a "hinge effect" with one of these, it is so slight I don't notice. https://uandmetime.com/products/store/# ... ct=4958534
Without the sleeve some of my fat pad gets drawn into the cylinder and the rings are placed behind. That served to reduce notable hinge.

I use 2 Osbon rings. As far as size, it doesn't seem to matter a great deal which 2 when I use them with the sleeve.

Lube is my friend! Before, during, and after sex, copious amounts of lube help things go smoother for both of us..

Thank you so much for recommending these foam sleeves. This is a life saver. What VED and rings would your recommend?

There are a variety of VED's that work well for their users.
I "recommend" the type that works for you.

I use one of these https://www.vitalitymedical.com/encore- ... -pump.html

I use 2 Osbon rings for sex. 2 Osbons fit on the Encore so both can be applied at the same time.
Early days in my VED use I spent time and money experimenting with different rings and ring sizes. Two Osbons have worked best for me, but may not be optimal for someone else.
Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.

I use an Osbon Erecaid Classic and 2 Osbon Rings. It's a little pricey but the ring loader works easily with their rings. You can find pricing from about $180 up by searching the internet.

I have the same VED as AOM by Encore. I am very happy with it as it has a great way to deploy the ring(s). I used two. The only draw back with this device is it did not come with a pressure gauge, which I believe is very important.

I actually ordered a gauge off of Leluv via Kodidistributing.com and added it to the cylinder of the pump. if anyone is interested in the details of how I did that, just PM me and I’d be glad to share that with you.

I also use the penile sleeve that AOM suggests. I have both a medium size and a large size. I had a lot of problems with my testicles getting sucked up into the cylinder. I tried everything to prevent it, but inevitably it would happen until I reached my full pump size.

I use the medium size one until I’m over 5 inches, then I take it off and put on the large one, which allows me to reach my full size. At that point, I could take the large one off since I occupy the base of the 2 inch cylinder, but most of time I just leave it on. Seems like a lot effort, but it keeps the boys in their house.

Before I started injections, I would leave the large penile sleeve on and pop two small sized rings on for sex, which worked out well.

Thank you. Do you pop two small sized rings on the penile sleeve or directly on the skin?

Which website sells the Osborn rings that y'all use? I checked in Amazon and didn't have any luck!

The Osbon ErecAid rings are available at VitalityMedical.com and many other sources - just Google "Erecaid Rings". I also use 2 rings and place both on the VED tube beforehand. I also use a thin flat latex shield for a better seal. I'm also very careful to make sure I keep my testicles out of the way when pumping. I was lax on that a couple of times and one got drawn in - it ain't too comfortable. If it happens it's not the end of the world. Stretch and hold the stretched rings until flacid. Use plenty of lubrication to slide the errant testicle out of the rings one ring at a time.
