I thought some of you might be interested in the submitted vs contract cost of an implant. I used Dr Henry in Shreveport, and he uses Christus Schumpert Hospital. Here's the costs:
Dr - submitted - $4000 paid by ins $916
Anesthesia - submitted $1089 paid - $1089
Hosp - submitted $41,324, paid - $12,225
Any difference will reflect the contract amount between the insurance co and the facility. Also, remember that my implant was day surgery since I did not spend a single night in the hosp, and even removed my own catheter.
Interesting yes?

Re: Implant Cost
So what you're saying is that you have a discount pecker. How does Mrs. K feel about that? hahaha
