Thanks for reading my post, I'm new here and so far it's been such a blessing.
Here's my story. I was in a relationship, and at the start my erections were at their best. After a while my erections seemed to be getting not quite as engorged. Not sure if it was mild depression setting in. I had always pumped with bathmate at max pressure or close it. I never new this was risking injury. I wasn't aware of any online community educating about safe use of pumps. We broke up and my depression probably got worse, it's hard for me to recall since it was four years ago. Anyways the last few times I tried to pump I couldn't get hard, but i just brushed it off and said "whatever these things happen". A few days later I tried to hook up with a girl and my penis wasn't responding. I took it real hard, lost my shit and for the next week i tried to get him up without success. So i rushed to the doctor in devastation. I did a penile doppler. After the injection before the ultrasound I just couldn't get hard, I was really trippin, i felt like i was walking the plank.. Anyway it showed arterial insufficiency with a PSV of 20cm/sec. I was pretty soft during the whole exam...
This whole experience triggered a much bigger depression that has lasted until now, 4 years later. This depression had become a beast of it's own. I rarely get morning wood and when i do it's probably about 50 to 60% hard. I'm on cialis 5mg daily but still no morning wood and getting an erection from masterbating is more disappointing than anything else...I'm still working on my depression with my psychiatrist but it's been really hard.
The thought that i over pumped and hurt myself causing me to have to say goodbye to my erections for good absolutely destroys me. I get into these cycles of self blame and devastation. On the bathmate website it says the pumps are designed to be unable to pump up to dangerous pressures. But it seems that's a bunch of crap when you read online forums. I'm 34 years old so most doctors don't take me seriously. Having an implant is the only thing saves from total darkness. Can someone please inform me if you think a bathmate injury could really cause something like this? I have no more morning wood, even with Cialis. Doesn't that rule out psychogenic ED and confirm physical ED?
Please let me know what you think? Anything helps

I'm sure it's possible to damage yourself with a pump. It's been 4 years, clearly you know that you've had some permanent injury.
For what it's worth, I'm also 34 and have an implant and very much enjoy having sex with it.

Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Hey wolfpacker, Which implant did you end up going with? Coloplast or AMS? How was your whole experience? Did you maintain your pre op size? I'm a total newb, just found out about implants a couple weeks ago.

I've got a Titan, though considering revision surgery to an AMS. The titan made me gain girth (from 4.75" to 5") and I only lost about 0.25 or 0.5" length maybe. But the titan in the deflated state is pretty uncomfortable for me so hoping AMS will be better.
Overall the implant is a heck of a lot better than severe ED. Right after getting the implant I was having sex with several girls but eventually settled down and have been dating the same girl for the past few years and having sex with her exclusively.

How long have you had the Titan? can you have sex daily? How does your girlfriend feel about it?
Re: Bathmate = Erectile Dysfunction??
As asked, are you on any boner killing meds? Depression meds will do that, among others like heart/BP meds. There's a long list actually.
And have you tried and/or considered injections. It's a good halfway house toward implants if and when injections taper back.
Lastly, I've had fair success restoring "operation" and potentially repairing tissue damage with shock wave therapy. I've done some posts on it.
Might consult with a good Uro. So far my Uro knows nothing about shock wave.
Just some random thoughts. Hope you figure it out.

Hey Stew52, I'm not on any Boner killing meds right now. Did extensive research on it. I had been on the same meds for 10 years without any issues when this started. I've thought of Shockwave therapy but it's very expensive for something that only works here and there for people. Injection therapy seems kind of crazy to me, having to stab myself every time i have sex. Plus during the doppler exam i got injected without any triggered erection... My priority is my mental health right now so i'm not rushing to the operation table without any doubts that I'm absolutely sure i'm impotent. I'm not 100% sure whether depression and anxiety can effect PSV results from the doppler or cause me to lose nocturnal erections. There's mixed opinions on the matter online. My priority is my mental health this year. Once I'm well I will do another doppler and reassess my position.

When I had my Doppler exam the urologist injected 3 units of Trimix. After 5-10 minutes when he came back to do the ultrasound, I said I think you missed, because there was no erection not even a chubby. He assured me that he did not miss. He further said the purpose of the low dose of Trimix was not to produce an erection, but to open up the blood vessels to measure blood flow, which he said was very good.
Normally I use 10-12 units of Trimix for sex.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

Hey Second Chance, welcome. Mental Health is a huge issue and its good you are addressing it. #1 I would recommend giving yourself some mental slack, stop playing the sex failure movie over and over again and look at what steps to correct.
For me after 7 years with no penetrating sex, and a large pandemic weight gain, I went on Ozempic, when I lost 35lb, I said why don't you give sex another kick at the cat. I researched Peptides especially PT 141 and Melanotan 2 and have been experimenting with them for the last 6 months to some very good effect.
And I opened myself to Trimix injections although I had proclaimed never to inject or stick needles in my penis. Wrong, Trimix is a real Godsend and I highly recommend you give it a shot before leapfrogging into an implant.
Believe me I use a Autoinject 2 and don't even see the needle (except to fill it). Now its like a walk in the park. If you don't try you won't know. I can tell you I am a brand new man now and my wife and I are having great sex, again.
