Hi guys I am a 70 yo that got the Titan Coloplast on 12/11/14. I have Diabetes and High blood pressure, both controlled but could not get a workable erection. Now I have a erection like when I was a kid. I guess the only problem I have is the pump that is in my scrotum makes my underwear rub against it and feels like raw skins. I put some medicated powder on it this morning and boy was that ever a wrong thing to do. But the pain got better and every thing feels good now. In other words I'm glad I had it done and very glad Dr. Kramer did it. Hope this helps someone. You will have a semi erection though.

Mine is sticking straight out. It's very annoying and painful. I tried wearing a jock strap to hold it down but it always works it way straight out again.

I often wonder how many guys who report the always semi-erect issue are just simply not getting all the fluid out of the cylinders. I've corresponded with a few where that was clearly the case. The Titan cylinders, even if they are slightly stiffer than the AMS cylinders, are remarkably flexible. If you have never handled them (outside the body), just watch one or more of the Titan implant videos that are around and you can see how very very flexible they are.

I'm no medical professional, but I think there can only be two causes of the semi-erect issue. First, the natural anatomy of the individual, things like thickness of the penis, position of scrotum, location and size of the testicles, natural flexibility of the penile tissues, all combine to interact with the cylinders in some manner to make it stiffer for some than for others. I've read of people with AMS cylinders who also report semis and bulges. But since the meme is that Titans are stiffer, they don't single out the AMS. They just accept it as a byproduct of having an implant. I assume that Titan guys with these natural anatomical issues might also have an issue with AMS cylinders if they had had them... maybe not exactly to the same degree. But I wonder if Titan's get more than their share of the blame.

Second, anytime there is more than token fluid left in the cylinders, like 4-5 pumps worth for me, I too will have a semi. I have seem a video of a surgeon implanting a Titan who says he sometimes leaves extra fluid in the cylinders. Well, that would cause a semi. I've read about the fluid reservoir becoming encapsulated with scar tissue preventing full deflation. That would cause a semi. And, I think sometimes guys just don't know how hard you have to work to get all the fluid out. For me, anyway, it takes a very hard squeeze of the deflate pads to get the valve to lock open. Sometimes more than once. And it takes a hard squeeze of my penis, yes sort of milking it too, to get all the fluid out.

When all the fluid is out, my penis is very flexible. I can bend it 180 degrees so the glans points back to my body, sort of a smashed U. I can do it left, right, up or down. Now, maybe I'm an outlier, in that I have unique anatomical characteristics that make for more than average flexibility.

Harley,
I took your suggestions. After soaking in hot water for ten minutes manipulated it while flaccid. Then I pumped it up and when deflating I both bent it and milked it. There was a definite difference. It must have had scar tissue. Because it folded much easier. And afterward it was not at attention. Thanks
