Cords and hard dog ear
Cords and hard dog ear
What's up everyone. I got my implant a while ago but I still feel all kind of cords and lines near the base. I can sometimes push them down a little into the sack. Do you all have these? Also I'm not sure if the cylinders are twisted at all but sometimes while sporting a flaccid it's feels like a dime or nickel is at the dog ear and i spend 10 minutes manipulating and slightly pumping it to where It doesn't actually hurt. Full pump I'm good to go but I can't walk around at 90% all the time lol

Hey Maddawg, I had the tubing bunched up on the base left side on my original, spoke to Dr. about that and was told it happens but nothing to be alarmed about. Now that I have had my revision I can't feel anything there now but I am still slightly swollen and it has only been 3 days. And the dog ears , yes had them as well, but the when I would pump it up to telephone pole strength all that disappeared but not the tubing on the lower left side of the base.

I got my implant a month ago with a Titan and I'm having the same problem with the tubing on the left side. Do you think its because of the Titan, or is it the approach the surgeon used to operate?

Hey Nix, you know I have read others having the same issue. Makes me wonder if this isn't a product issue. Maybe the tubing is to long, I do not know. Hopefully you will enjoy your new pecker as much as I enjoyed mine when I first got the initial implant. The Titan worked for me and when it failed you saw one stressed out man. Now, I am happy with my AMS, hope it holds up. Yours as well, use it, enjoy it, and give it a good workout, hopefully yours will last a long time.

Re: Cords and hard dog ear
my implant originally had hard dog ear and cylinders were inflating uneven (one side getting harder, sometimes difficult to inflate). Found out one cylinder was twisted. Decided to switch to AMS since i didn't like the feeling of titan in flaccid state.
Radical Prostatectomy in 2015; failed pills, straight to Coloplast Titan in 2019 by Dr. Valenzuela in NYC, Replaced with AMS 700 CX in 2022 by Dr. Darshan Patel in San Diego, CA. Wish I jumped to an implant even before prostate cancer!

With your original one, did the tubing at the base affect sex negatively at all? I feel the tubing more when im sitting down. What incision approach did your doctor use for your Titan?

It bothered my wife more than it did me, it would develop a soreness in the vagina in that spot where the tubing was, eventually it would start to bother me as well, especially the next day, tender. The Dr. used the pentescrotal method both the first and second time.
