Hello everyone,
Following an infection, I had to replace my 3-piece implant with a malleable one. I'm quite satisfied with the result, but I did notice a loss of length of at least 4 cm. Some may find this childish and say it's preferable to erectile dysfunction, but it's still had an impact on my self-image. I'd like to know if anyone here has been able to increase the size of their implant with a second operation, or should I just assume that it won't change?
Problem with malleable size
Re: Problem with malleable size
I just had a revision on my Rigicon mallabble ... they undersized the first on in 6-2023 so 6-2024 went from a 13mm x 17cm to a 13mm x 20 cm which did make a difference .. size depending on your age and body type and where and how you measure can be subjective .. I'm now longer than I was but the the diameter is the same could not go to a 14mm rod there was no room. Do not use a VED on a mallabble implant is what my dr. told me because you can stretch the tissue out and get a floppy head. what brand implant did you get and who did your surgery?
Re: Problem with malleable size
I don’t have a malleable. I’ve never had one. Therefore my comments are speculation.
I suspect that the loss of size due to receiving a malleable is common, and to be expected. As long as you stay malleable things aren’t going to change, size-wise.
That’s because surgeons have to exercise some caution and good judgment knowing that erosion at the tip where the implant sits within the glans is a real possibility.
With an inflatable, once a guy is finished using his erection he deflated the cylinder and that allows a reduction of stress upon the tissues immediately adjacent to the implant. That doesn’t happen with a malleable-the stress never goes away-so surgeons do not want to put so much stress that over time the end of the implant wears away tissue and you end up poking a hole somewhere you don’t want one.
Yes, constant pressure/stress can cause tissues to expand. Yes, putting too much stress on too small an area will cause tissues to do the same thing as metal fatigue & rupture. Those of us who have had hernias repaired can testify to that.
There are guys for whom malleables are the right answer. But it pays to be aware. They are more likely to lose size and cycling won’t bring it back.

Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.
Re: Problem with malleable size
Since it doesn't happen very often, I wanted to ask you how you perceive the difference in feeling between the IPP and MPP? How suitable do you find the MPP for everyday use? I myself have a Titan IPP and don't like the feeling when it's deflated.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
28, Titan Touch 3/22. Length + girth back. ED all life. Feeling underfilled. Only 6-7 pumps until pump stays depressed. Hardness acceptable but not very strong. Thinking about malleable implant.

There's many more but right now, off the top of my head, I can recall two guys you might be interested in reading posts of: Anfornee and woodturner. They had emergency malleable put in due to infection and after some months came back to inflattable, regaining all their size lost with malleable.
28 y/o, Poland, ED after heavy metal poisoning
Corporal fibrosis after ED - Traction + VED to regain size - seeing great results
Lost 1"L 0.5"G. Regained all length and 0.2"G.
Making money to afford implant, meanwhile trying everything else

Re: Problem with malleable size
Youngfr, I think losing 4cm, about 1 1/2 inches, after switching from inflatable to malleable, is too much. However, if you do not feel a floppy glans then you are sized correctly.
Finally Bionic
