I’m new here and it’s a Long post coming but here it is:
My symptoms: I’m completely impotent but before I reached the severity my ED is now I was completely incapable of getting an erection while standing and required constant stimulation to maintain any erection I could get which generally weren’t even hard enough for sex to begin with
I’m 17 suffering with on and off ED since I was 14 that has rapidly worsened in the last few months to the point a penetration worthy erection is no longer possible. It wasn’t until April that the dramatic decline in my erectile function to almost absolute zero galvanized me to seek out a urologist who as you might expect did nothing more than order some hormone tests and then declare it psychological. I requested the daily cialis regimen which the fucker wouldn’t prescribe due to my age (as if that is important) and gave me low dose sildenafil (20mg). He only gave me 15 pills but when I got them I first tried it in a 20 dose and that did nothing but give me a runny nose, mild headache, and even made me dizzy so my next course of action was to take 5 of them bitches like an idiot to see if I was capable of an erection with sildenafil at all which also failed and gave me the worst headache of my entire 17 year life. To my absolute horror, at first my parents believed this dipshit and refused to take me to see anyone else which is extra frustrating because my father is a physician and chose this particular urologist because he went to residency with him. As a result my dad and I had a lot of animosity throughout April until the end of June until my dad began to realize that my symptoms were in fact highly indicative of a physical origin and that he was in denial. He took me to a younger more reasonable urologist who acknowledged my ED was physical and gave me daily cialis which after almost 3 weeks of taking is still absolutely useless although the first few days taking it did allow me to maintain about a 60% erection if I stayed perfectly still which gave me hope I could at least prevent hypoxia but as of now it’s not even good enough for that. I also took 4 of these pills to try the maximum dose and once again nothing. I speak with my urologist again next week and my plan is to try vardenafil in order to try all the pde5i’s as stendra is not available in Canada and even if it were that shits too expensive anyway. I made sure to establish my preference for the implant when I first met with my urologist and he said that while it would be extremely difficult to find a willing surgeon he did believe that beyond pills it would be my best option. Also if you suggest trying injections, vacuum pumps, or even those crappy suppositories that are more invasive yet somehow less effective than oral medication FUCK ALL OF THEM I’m 17 and want a normal spontaneous sex life without the need to subject myself to any of that extraneous bullshit and don’t need to remind myself I have ED every time I want to masturbate or have sex by sticking stuff in or up my dick just to have sex. Fuck that. So that’s kind of where I’m at, unresponsive to medication and unexplained severe physical ED despite being in perfect health otherwise. I am committed to pursuing an implant. Seeing other young men on here and even the older guys who endure years of ED trying shitty “treatment” options out of apprehension for an implant only to realize the prevailing theme in implant patients which is that they wish they had done it sooner have made me realize that the implant should not be feared but instead encouraged regardless of my age. I’ve spent the last 4 years exercising, dieting, and trying meditation and all kinds of herbal remedies and while it’s gotten me in great shape it’s done nothing for my ED which continues to decline so I’m ready to finally take the leap of faith to put an end to my ED once and for all. I think about my ED all the time and its starting to encroach on my daily life despite how strong I’ve felt I’ve been during this whole situation and since I have so much life left to live the sooner I can get an implant the better.
like i said I know the implant is the solution for me and I’m interested in doing it with Dr. Eid since he’s stated the youngest patient he’s ever implanted was 17 and I feel like he has a super comprehensive understanding of how ED effects a man’s mind. I just have a few questions
1. Dr Eid is the only implant specialist I’ve seen admit to implanting anyone younger than 18. However, I don’t know if it would be wiser to wait until I turn 18 in 3 months to contact Eid or do it next week after the vardenafil fails. I’m kind of in a hurry because I feel like my obsession with ED is consuming my teenage years and ostracizing me from romantic and sexual relationships and I can’t continue living like that.
2. If Dr Eid won’t see me can anyone recommend me surgeons with experience implanting very young patients like me
3.Can you still have good sex if your glans doesn’t engorge (mine still gets larger and firm(er) but it is still kind of squishy and not completely hard)
4. While my dad said he would pay for the surgery out of pocket since we have enough money to do so does Dr Eid or any other implant surgeon offer financing plans like paying 15000 dollars upfront and then like 5000 for the next few months thereafter .
5. When I go for the Doppler with Eid how bad does the injection hurt and can I request or use a numbing gel to make the injection painless. (This seems super scary to me)
6. how flexible is Eid’s scheduling. I will have off from university between February 15-23. Would it be able to ask Eid months in advance to reserve a surgery and in person appointment for a date falling in that time period
7. If i can’t go back to dr Eid 2 weeks later can I have him write a letter for a local urgent care to remove my sutures.
8. Is anybody here on franktalk 25 or younger and implanted by Jonathan clavell (he’s my second preference)
I’ve spent the last almost 4 years fighting against ED and my cowardice and desire for false hope with all kinds of supplements and herbal remedies have made my cock limp ever since. This time I want to see Dr Eid and finish the job with the implant and not make the same mistakes many other men make waiting years for an implant. I have the courage to do all that is necessary to rid myself of ED and I won’t let any misguided urologists who want to tell me my ED is psychological stop me. If they want to pretend that I don’t have a physical issue there’s only one thing to do and that’s to walk up to them look them in the eye and tell them to fuck off. My time for an implant has come and I plan to make it happen.

Re: Implant before 18 with Dr Eid?
Congrats for hanging in there despite all of the frustration. I’m glad you found FrankTalk.
It seems that the next right step is to call Dr Eid’s office. They will be able to answer all the questions you listed above.
Hang in there and post about what you learn so other young guys will be able to learn from your experience.

The implant should be your last resort.
You sound like you've tried everything under the sun to no avail, so you would probably be a good candidate for an implant.
Your 1st question regards your frustration at your lack of erection and I can understand this.
I worked totally fine in the bedroom before Prostate cancer reared its ugly head and I had to have a Radical Prostatectomy which in turn annihilated my own erection ability.
I did the pills and shots routine for a short time and I hated every second of it.
I guarantee you this frustration will continue to play like a movie loop in your head and you're doing the right thing by getting it addressed, the problem is your age.
You WILL have to deal with the Implant getting replaced about every decade or so.
There will be some serious cost involved, so make sure you have good insurance.
Im sure your Doctor is going to make you aware of this on your consultation.
2nd Question.
This will have to be answered by your Doctor.
Personally, I don't see an issue because you are young and probably healthy as a horse, so getting an implant
would be a fairly risk free procedure on their side.
3rd question.
Speaking for myself, my implanted erection looks and feels exactly like it did when it was normally functioning.
No 'Squishy" anywhere.
4th question.
Yes.
Financing should not be an issue if you need to go that route.
Every high implant surgeon I've ever heard of offers this.
5th question.
I never did the Doppler.
Sorry, I don't know.
6th question.
I don't know Eids schedule, you'll have to ask him.
Being an in- demand high implant surgeon you probably want to book an appointment as soon as possible
because you may have to wait a while to see him.
7th question
Personally, I wouldn't let anybody but my Implant Doctor remove those stitches, obviously he needs to take a good look at your unit to make sure everything is correct and there isn't a problem or infection.
8th question.
Sorry, I don't know.
Dude, I can't imagine still being in your teens and having to deal with this.
I remember being your age..... I was climbing the walls and eyeballing Swiss Cheese.
Even for the 6 months I didn't function, It really screwed with my head.
I was never depressed before, but this totally blindsided me.
Im so happy I went with the implant though.
Having an in -demand rock hard erection at any time is AMAZING.
Having the ability to get your nut and still keep going like a jack-rabbit is also incredible..
Ultimately this will be your choice.
If I was in your shoes I wouldn't hesitate..... I would pull the trigger.
Good luck.

Re: Implant before 18 with Dr Eid?
Just a few thoughts…..
I don’t blame you one bit for wanting to go implant. If I were you, I would do it, sooner rather than later. But maybe not immediately. Here’s why.
Puberty.
Granted….most guys do the whole puberty thing around age 13 or 14 and they have no change in penis size from age 15 until their funeral.
There are other guys, perfectly normal biologically, who deal with what endocrinologists call a constitutional delay of puberty. It starts later, seems to last longer. Yeah, both adult males end up with normal sized bodies and equipment when all is said and done. But before you install an implant you need to make damned sure you have reached your final adult growth and 18 is kind of sketchy. The dick I became sexually active with at (I admit it) age 19 was noticeably thinner and somewhat shorter than the equipment I had at age 25. If I were you I’d be inclined to use a VED and injections (if they work on you) for a while and let your body finish doing whatever it’s going to do. Maybe just for a couple of years.
I understand everyone wants to use Dr. Eid. He is the big name in implants. But since you’re young, and possibly have a few revisions in front of you…I might be inclined to find a younger doctor. I’m not if the opinion that you will automatically need a revision after 10 years. It’s a good planning factor, but your first install might last close to 20. Or you might need one after 5. I think it’s a pretty good bet that 20 yrs from now Dr. Eid will have retired. Find a surgeon you like and trust and who is likely to still be doing implant stuff 20 or maybe even 30 years from now.
I’m not sure where you live or plan to live in the future. It doesn’t matter to me. But I think folks get blinded by the big names and forget that service after the sale is key to long term satisfaction. If you can—-since you’re going to have an implant and use the hell out of it for 60 years—-I would suggest that finding a good doc close to where you are who can provide good follow up care and support for many years is a very good idea.
A lot of times guys think since it is mainly older dudes who get implanted it’s a one shot deal…one and done. Not true. I have had my implant for 4 1/2 years & I’m 68. If it lasts 15 years, I’ll be 78. I cannot envision a situation where I wouldn’t want another one installed. The beauty of my situation is the doc who did mine is in his mid 40s in the nearest big city (70 miles) and I see him annually for urology issues. I have regular, ongoing care from the same doc. It might not be a big deal if you’re talking a cold or the flu….but cutting on my junk it’s a relief to have a doctor who is familiar with it.
Those were my two main thoughts—-make sure you’re done growing and consider using a doctor who will be in practice and can help you out in the years ahead. Other than that I can’t think of any reason not to go for it.

Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.
Re: Implant before 18 with Dr Eid?
I would suggest calling Dr.Eid’s office with your questions. He has a very knowledgeable staff and the doctor does phone consultations. I’ve used him for two surgeries and have been pleased with the results. Good luck.

Good luck.
Thanks for replying and the insight. Frankly, if I could I would be implanted today and the only reason I haven’t called Dr. Eid’s office yet is because I’m scared that if I call I will be turned away and hung up on immediately because of my age. In my mind I have absolutely zero hesitation or doubt about getting implanted and I am hell bent on doing it hopefully before I turn 19.
18 with severe ED unresponsive to pills and looking to be implanted as soon as possible. Currently being referred to Implant expert.
Re: Implant before 18 with Dr Eid?
Ezz616 wrote:1.
Although I wholeheartedly relate to your frustration and fully understand you (being not much older myself), I'd advise you wait these few months left until you turn 'legal'. Spend this time trying treatments that might bring you back to the game naturally so that when you go for an implant, you got no second thoughts and you reassured yourself that was the only way to go. We're talking about pretty much a life-changing decision here brother. And learn about implants meanwhile, of course. Here's a site where many guys with implant problems gather, but don't let this discourage you from making the decision when the time comes. Pay attention to signatures and who operated on men sharing negative/positive feedback. You're going with best in the bussiness.
Ezz616 wrote:2. If Dr Eid won’t see me can anyone recommend me surgeons with experience implanting very young patients like me
You seem to be dead set on dr Eid and dr Clavell is your second choice. I'd add dr Hakky in Atlanta and dr Cordon in Miami to the possible choices. Can't go wrong with them, I believe.
Ezz616 wrote:3.Can you still have good sex if your glans doesn’t engorge (mine still gets larger and firm(er) but it is still kind of squishy and not completely hard)
Soft glans syndrome is a rare condition and pretty much unknown to this urology world. Glans won't be affected during surgery so what you come with into OR you leave with that. It's not a dealbreaker in the bed, that's for sure. Some guys who want to have it all working at 100% use gels that you inject into urethra, or cock rings, or rubber bands to trap the blood. I'm pretty sure you'll find your workaround, or just fuck with a little bit squishy one. I remember one guy here on FT said his wife actually prefers soft glans, so...Who knows if your girlfriend won't prefer that too.
Ezz616 wrote:8. Is anybody here on franktalk 25 or younger and implanted by Jonathan clavell (he’s my second preference)
I think you might want to contact AverageBloke. He was 22 when he had the surgery with dr Clavell, you can find his journal here or on Peyronies forum.

Being a 68 year old cantankerous son of a bitch is sometimes its own reward. Shit you didn’t think about earlier pops into your head and you can then throw it into a conversation and folks just attribute it to you being old.
Here’s your solution: get the good urologist you’ve dealt with to write you a referral to a surgeon.
Go see the urologist (the one you liked) and tell him verbatim what you’ve told us. Then request that he write you a referral letter you can present to the surgeons you are considering.
If I’m an implant surgeon, I doubt I hang up on an 18 year old with ED calling me for help. But I’m pretty sure I take it very seriously if I’m given a letter from a urologist that contains a diagnosis of organic ED along with a recommendation that implant surgery is the best course of treatment.
You can scan the letter and attach it to emails you have with the doctor or his staff. Yes, there may be some wary of implanting a guy your age. But if you tell a doctor what you’ve told us, and your correspondence contains supporting documents from a medical professional, you will get taken seriously.
I’m not sure why we forgot to suggest you include a referral. Perhaps because we are (by and large) a bunch of old farts. In my case an old fart that gets laid often.
Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.
