Did I do permanent damage?

Postby Maybebroken28 » Fri Mar 15, 2024 4:47 pm

Hello everyone I am 28 years old and I have never had physical ED until a month ago… I have been taken cialis for the last couple months to deal with performance anxiety and at first it worked great but eventually I started hanging out with this girl more frequently and at one point I took a 10 mg of cialis 3 times within 8 days and during that period the cialis seemed to lose effect and the last time I took it I was hard a lot but not quite hard enough to penetrate and ever since the last time I took cialis my penis has felt numb and lifeless and I get morning wood but it’s often weak. I also still get partially hard when I am hooking up with my girl but not even close to hard enough to penetrate. It seems like being hard too much on cialis could have injured my penis. I researched priapism and it definitely doesn’t seem like I had that since my erections would subside after I stopped doing sexual stuff with my girl and also because they were never painful. I visited a urologist already and she assured me I did not have priapism and it’s very unlikely I did any permanent damage to my penis but I know my body and my penis feels very different. This feels like something physical. Before those last few cialis uses I would get spontaneous erections left and right and would always have crazy morning wood. I have not taken cialis for a month and my penis has not been the same ever since. As anyone experienced anything like this?
29 Y.O. ED started recently but it seems physical. Can’t get it up for sex, weak morning wood, can barely get it up to masturbate. If things don’t get better in 6 months I will seriously start considering implant. Already doing research on the surgery.

I really doubt Cialis would have caused anything bad if you haven't had priapism, but of course ED happens and it could've been something that just suddenly affected you.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Its not due to cialis use, dont blame yourself. Go to an urologist and get an eco doppler.

I’ve seen some info about cialis reducing estrogen, so it’s probably lowered estrogen causing side effects. I noticed the same effect so I’ll never use cialis again unless I’m on TRT or something

Use one of the others

Cialis can and dies cause some permanent physical damage. I took Cialis and lost vision in my left eye. I can still see, however it is very blurry. If it had happened to both eyes, I wouldn't be able to drive. Be careful with that stuff.
Age 74 Implanted 01/02/2024, Dr.Clavell AMS LGX, Ed for almost 20yrs. Cialis tried caused vision loss, Trimix also caused vision problems. Married 36 years.

Maybebroken: Have you gotten testosterone measured?
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
