My experience with Gainswave

One of the newer treatments for ED, Shock Wave Therapy is still in it's experimental stages. While the treatment often sounds promising, it is only effective for a few patients and the results are not permanent. Informed Consumers are the best patients!

My experience with Gainswave

Postby mikol1313 » Mon Jul 29, 2024 10:34 pm

Starting in April, I completed 6 sessions of Gainswave at Elite in Parsippany New Jersey and then got the P shot. Been using a vacuum device two times a day for the past 6 weeks as they instructed. I'm also on TRT. Was hoping it would just return me to the point where Cialis or Viagra would work again, but so far..................... absolutely no improvement. I have a followup coming up where I'm sure they will tell me I need more sessions and more shots but I just have no faith that it will work. Does that mean it doesn't work for others? I don't know. Just felt I have to try everything before looking into getting an implant. This has me so depressed.

I did several p-Shot injections and also used the Phoenix shockwave treatments myself. I hate to say, but I wasted a lot of money doing these treatments. Nothing worked for me.

I decided to go with the implant. Its been almost two years and I couldn't be happier. Good luck.

I sure hate to hear so many guys spend lots of money and not see any results. Think there has been several who bought that Phoenix device and had little to no results. It's the only thing I skipped trying to cure ED.

Research these cheap radial wave devices vs. Low-Intensity Shock Wave. In my opinion, the latter is still unproven, but all the scientific analysis says it might work. The former is snake oil. Real shock wave devices are $50-100K and typical treatments are $200-500 each. The cheap devices need a numbing cream because the radial waves are absorbed by the skin. Real shock waves penetrate deeply and only the slightest discomfort is felt. The most common real shock wave in the US is the Storz Duolith SD-1 (look for the complete device model because Storz does manufacturer other cheap models).

Has the trt improved your penis at all?

I was at 300 before TRT and now I'm at 750. 3 months of TRT has had no effect on me being able to get an erection good enough for penetration. I see no difference in my penis between before I was on it and now. But it has done some other things. Before my Libido was incredibly low, now it is incredibly high. I think about sex all the time. Notice every pretty girl that walks by me on the street. And probably watch more porn than I should. I want to have sex but cannot bring my self to hook up with someone because I know it would be an embarrassing and humiliating situation when my parts don't work. So my libido is high but I can't do anything with it. Secondly, I do feel stronger and feel like I recover from injury faster. I'm 58.

I was just implanted.

I never tried Gainswave, but I did have a Phoenix which I believe operates on the same principle: radial pulse waves. Did absolutely nothing. These are pretty much snake oil to be tossed into the ever-growing pool of snake oil.

It absolutely pisses me off to no end that there are legit sociopaths out there who take no issue with profiting off of people's desperation.
40. Implanted July 5, 2024, by Dr. Andrew Kramer, Urology Associates of Cape Cod. AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic erectile dysfunction following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, even spinal injections. Nada.
