Dr Eid or Dr Hakky?

Postby Throwawaya320 » Tue Jul 30, 2024 2:34 pm

I’m paying out of pocket and Dr Hakky recently quoted me a cost of around 23k out of pocket. I’ve also seen a lot of users who used Dr Eid and we’re really satisfied with the results. However, since I’ll be paying out of pocket Eid is more expensive. Even though dr hakky is cheaper, would you say he is as good as Dr Eid? Also I’m only 25 years old so I’ll have to get revisions down the line and Dr Hakka is relatively young so I can also use him for revisions as well.
25. Pills don’t work. Wanting to skip injections due to long term scar tissue development.

I paid cash for Dr Eid but if I was doing it again I'd pay for Dr Clavell. Dr Eid has an unnecessarily high price because of location in NYC and it's a pain in the ass to get to his office thanks to NYC traffic. Also I'm sure he will be retiring soon so you won't have that continuity with your surgeon for followup appointments or issues.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

On the other hand, I have heard that Dr Eid is the only one using spinal instead of general anesthesia?

Also, Dr Eid told me you can workout lightly after 2 weeks post-op and back to normal after 3 weeks while Clavell recommends to not start lifting before 6 weeks. Somehow Dr Eid seems to have shorter recovery time.

Can't go wrong with either choice, both excellent surgeons. Thing is dr Eid or dr Perito (mentioned in the comments) are slowly reaching retirement and I'd rather choose someone who will be out there in case revision is needed in the future (dr Hakky) - you're 25 afterall. Dependent on your location but you might also want to consider dr Clavell in Houston and dr Billy Cordon in Miami. Additional question is if you've got Peyronies, cause all these surgeons use different techniques to correct that (some just put the implant in, some use 'scratch' technique, some use grafting etc.).

Corporal fibrosis after ED - Traction + VED to regain size - seeing great results

Making money to afford implant, meanwhile trying everything else

I used Dr Hakky and am happy. I didnt go to Eid so I cant speak to his work.
I am about. Year out from surgery and am nearly the size I was prior. 5-3/4”L x 6”g vs 6”L x 6.5”g
My function is awesome. He is a very good dr and will take good care of you. I chose him over another high volume surgeon because of proximity and I felt his staff was better suited to handle my insurance claim. They were all great.

Another thought process can be that one gets the first implant done by the real expert. This will ensure you get the best sizing and the perfect placement of pump etc. This though was also echoed by a fellow brother here on FT who himself is a surgeon.
I have read great things about Dr. Hakky but imo Dr. Eid is the ultimate go to person for this. He was my first choice surgeon and I only went to Dr. Billy Cordon because Dr. Eid took ill and I had limitations of time and insurance.
To summarize if 10k extra paid to Dr. Eid does not pinch you too much, I would go with him.
42 yr old from India, Ed since many years.
Coloplast Titan 22 cms one touch pump no rte; implanted by Dr. Billy Cordon in Miami on 02-March-2023. Found Dr. Cordon on reco from Dr. Eid after he fell sick.
Happy to help!

I just don't like the method he uses. Recall it results in a permanent scar. Few other issues with it.
Venous Leakage (which I believe caused by my overuse of the Bathmate VED)

What insurance do you have? I ask because I'm self-employed and get healthcare through the network. My insurance isn't the best and, yet, it still covered my implant procedure. Actually, I was shocked.

I'm not sure where you're based, but I went with Dr. Kramer in Cape Cod. Only a six-hour drive for me and a pleasant stay. Kramer did a fantastic job, and the result looks great so far at about four weeks out. Also, I believe he's only in his early fifties. I plan on using him for my revisions.

Eid is only a state over from me; but, like Wolfpacker said, I wasn't willing to deal with all of New York City's bullshit. I'd rather drive six hours than sit and stew in traffic with gauze on my bruised dick.
40. Implanted July 5, 2024, by Dr. Andrew Kramer, Urology Associates of Cape Cod. AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic erectile dysfunction following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, even spinal injections. Nada.
