Implant surgery with Onychomycosis
Has anyone been implanted while having Onychomycosis (toenail fungues)? I am going to consult with several implanters but I'd like your feedback as well.

A better question might be is there anyone in their 60s or 70s Who doesn’t have toenail fungus?
I am not making light of your situation because I know the degree of severity varies quite a bit from one guy to another. But as a 68 year old who spends a lot of time at the gym and is real active. I cannot think of a single old guy Who does not have at least one or two fungi affected toenails on his ugly old man feet.
If you have a real active fungal infection, I suspect any doctor will want to get it under control before he or she performs any surgical procedures. Otherwise I would call the fact that I have this fungus to their anttention and see what they have to say. Being covered up with fungus can be a sign of other things going on with your immune system. However, most of the time those thick, yellow toenails and nasty athletes foot smell are simply a sign that you are turning into an old fart like me and if you live long enough you’re going to see this.
But that’s one of the reasons that we pay doctors. Make the decision as to what will and will not have an effect on surgical success.

Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.

I have toenail fungus, and it was no issue at all.
Toenail fungus is its own issue. It just refuses to go away.

Same here. I've had it in my right foot since teenage years & it wasn't an issue at all for my surgery
