Urination issues after implant
Had a malleable implant put in on 8/6. Urinated after surgery before going home. Starting next day scrotum and penis got extremely swollen. Since then having urination issues. Lot of dripping. Able to sometimes get a fair flow. Don’t feel like I have good control over it. Can’t just urinate on demand. I’ll stand there a few minutes straining to pee and only a few drops. Then I relax and a stream comes out. A weak stream, but a stream. Sometimes can get nothing but drops. Saw surgeon on 8/9. He thinks the swelling is within limits and doesn’t need draining. Thinks the urinary issues are from the penis and scrotum swelling. Thinks it will get better. Only thing he was concerned with is if I was passing blood which I’m not. Some streaks of blood first couple days after surgery, thinks that was from catheter as he had a hard time getting it in as my hole is small. Anyone have similar issues after your procedure?

Re: Urination issues after implant
I had the same urinary issues during the first month or so. It's just swelling - give it a couple weeks.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Good. What made you choose Tactra and who was your surgeon?

It’s the malleable brand my urologist uses. Chose malleable just due to supposed quicker recovery and less risks due to heart issues and diabetes. Dr. Sarvis of AUI.
Peeing a little better, but having to go about every two hours.

The more you pee, the better it will get.
9.5, 11 or 13 mm diameter?

I have a Rigicon mallabble and after my surgery I was much like you. I also have BHP which I take meds for and diabetes which means I have lost the sensation to know when I have a good urine stream or not. Many times I just sit on the commode and can just feel myself going and at times with the prostate issues I go over and over again. Once the swelling goes down you should be fine if your surgeon is not concerned ..

Stream slowly getting better. Sometimes, others still just a drip. Starting last night I had the urge to go every 2-3 hours. Worried might be a uti? But have been on cephelexson every 6 hours since day of surgery. Saw surgeon on Friday who got a urine sample. Only thing he told me was no blood in it. Did tell me and I didn’t think to ask if they tested for bacteria.
