Hello everyone. About me - I’m 32 years old. I had weak erections since I was 12. The weak erections developed suddenly overnight. Before I had it my dick would point upwards when hard. Now it points downward. I haven’t got a girlfriend in 14 years. My dick gets hard enough for penetration but the erection is too soft to pleasure her. This affected my confidence in bed and in general. I never went to the doctor to get diagnosed. I’m suspecting it is a venous leak or peyronies. I noticed the erections are getting weaker over time. I have to constantly stroke my dick to stay hard enough during masturbation. If I stop stroking, my semi erection gets softer within 10 seconds. I tried cialis and viagra both didn’t work.
I’m scared to get an implant for many reasons. The main reason is I read many people’s experiences about the implant affecting sensitivity and not being able to reach an orgasm. I read that there’s two different approaches to the surgery - infrapubic and penoscrotal. From what I read, penoscrotal is the better method that doesn’t affect sensitivity or ability to orgasm. But there are some people on here who did the penoscrotal method and still had trouble with sensitivity and orgasm. I don’t know how common this is with people who did the penoscrotal method.
I never made a woman cum with my limp dick. I really want to experience that but I’m not sure I want to trade sensitivity and ability to orgasm for that. It sucks that some of us can’t have both. We have to choose one or the other. I read a post where one user described his experience after an implant saying “the building sensations leading up to an orgasm wasn’t there” which kinda spooked me. Is that common?
Another concern I have is the oval shaped dick after getting an implant. Is this a common problem? Would getting horny and getting blood flow down there make the dick more rounded?
The people who did the penoscrotal method, did it affect your sensitivity and ability to orgasm? Is your erection more rounded during sex/masturbation? Are your orgasms a lot stronger than before?
Thanks

Re: Unsure of getting an implant
Have you tried any ED Pills or injections? Going straight to an implant without knowing your exact problem is a bit risky. I can see you've done a lot of research online which is good, but I would highly advise you to see a urologist and speak to them about your problems, at least that way you can have a better understanding of what you have. If you need the implant then fair enough, but I would definitely try other avenues first, there's no going back from an implant. I understand you've had these problems for a long time so you're not new to this, but please speak to a specialist first. Where are you from?

I’ve tried low doses of viagra and cialis. Both didn’t work. I forgot to mention in my post that my dick bends downwards at the base although it didn’t bend like that before. The bend developed over time. I’m planning to see a urologist about this problem soon. I’m going to try higher doses of viagra or cialis. I’m from the US

When you say didn't work, did you have any improvement at all or literally no changes? Which dosage have you tried? The sooner you see the urologist the sooner you find a solution going forward, the longer you leave it the worse you could get.

There was a small improvement when I took cialis and viagra. Ive tried 5 mg of cialis and 20 mg of viagra. My dick did get a little harder when masturbating but not as hard as before getting ED. It was still pointing downwards. If I stopped stroking it would get softer within seconds.

Same issue with me, in terms of getting soft very quick, I'm not sure why this is still to this day, but injections solved that for me. I would definitely try 50mg viagra and if it's still not perfect for you, it does go to 100mg.

Re: Unsure of getting an implant
The biggest thing to remember is that many of the posts you see online about issues with an implant is because guys are more apt to criticize the bad things VS the good things. Guys who have a good working implant are off using it, not posting about how they can fuck for hours. Also remember every guy will heal differently, have different pains and different results.
The best way to determine if you're a candidate for an implant is to schedule an appointment with a men's sexual health urologist. Tell them everything that goes on with your dick. Don't be shy because they have heard it all before. If one doc doesn't appeal to you, find another. There is only one way to fix a problem, and that is to keep at it.

Re: Unsure of getting an implant
First step is to go to a dr. who specializes in sexual health ... get answers to the true cause of your problem .. when all else fails if you end up going to an implant go to a high volume well established dr. Every person is different as is every dick ..don't forget by nature it gets harder for men to climax as we age and have other conditions and meds we take. Most men on the board are mid 60's getting implants and your 1/2 that age things to consider.

Re: Unsure of getting an implant
if pills failed, then try injection. If injections fail then go with implant
