I look forward to the stamina the implant provides to be able to take my time and enjoy the sensations again

I will say it definitely feels sturdy. Haven't achieved orgasm yet, so I'm looking forward to the experience. I don't know if I'm currently without sensation (I can feel everything I touch except around the incision), or whether I was overly sensitive and too quick to finish before (possible), or some combination (also possible). I'm just going to give it time.

This has been extremely valuable to me. Thank you for taking the time to post all these updates and photos. I've got an appointment with Dr. Clavell on Wednesday, I am hoping it goes well and I can set my surgery appointment! I will be honest, the early photos post op scared me, but seeing you healed up and normal looking now eased my mind. I am nervous still about the potential loss of length, as I am not a long guy to start with, but I'm hoping that's temporary for you, and I, and that cycling it will bring it back.

I'm glad it's helped you! That's why I started the journal and included photos (not just because I'm an exhibitionist!) The healing process has been easier than I'd imagined, albeit very very slow. Still healing after 7 weeks, but it will all pay off in the end.

Thanks for sharing your process! I’m one week out from my surgery and I’m having a pretty rough time. Did you ever have an issue where the penis is adjusting to the implant and it “flexes” on its own? That’s the part that’s giving me the most pain right now.

Do you mean the muscles around it flex or contract and make it "jump" like when you used to bounce an erection around? Yes, mine did, and yes, it hurt! I hated it. I had to try to consciously not do it. That pain went away in time. I can flex the muscles now and it's fine.

Thank you for your journal! 48yo gay male here also about to go into the implant world due to RP surgery and loss of one of my erectile nerves leading to severe ED. I was worrying about size but fuck - now I'm just worried about functionality and looking decent.
48yo gay married male - Prostatectomy done 7/2023. Severe ED due to nerve removal for possible cancer encroachment (none detected). Size before cancer / ED = 7.5" x 6.25"

You're functionality will be better than you were at 18.
You could be black out drunk, laying on the floor and someone could pump you up and ride you for 10 hours straight
In fact, you could be laying dead in the casket having a conversation with God and someone could come along(Ok, I won't go there.... :o )

There is always a refractory period of between 5 minutes to 10 hours to "recharge" in non-implanted men.

Not us!
As for the way it looks, I cannot tell the difference anymore.
A great world class surgeon WILL either get you very close to- or put you back together exactly as you were before.

Best to you.
